When I transfer the files to my s3, I get a "this device does not support these files" message. Not sure that Samsung use the stock player. I will actually try and play them and see. If not I'm going to root soon anyway.

Yeah, do. I haven't looked back since putting CM9 on my GS2 and they've already put a rough Jellybean CM10 version out.

I can confirm that whatever player that comes with CM9 (I presume it's ICS stock) plays FLAC no problems.

Final Fantasy 3 out on Android. It looks pretty good. Only downside is its £11...but...reviewers are saying its got between 30-80 hours of game play

Hmm...well, downloaded the game, and kept getting an annoying "failed to connect" error. Re-booted device, and still getting it.

Only thing I didn't do was uninstall and re-install, but doing that would have put me over the 15 min refund deadline.

Tip: on FF3, make sure one of your characters is a black wizzy as early on as poss.
Four tanks works up to a point, but then you need some serious spell dmg

Its supposed to be supported as per Samsung Specs so if it does not work then something is preventing it...

What up bitches, I can confirm the S3 does play flac files. The error was from windows telling me the device does not support flac files, not the phone.

Also, Amazing Andy has my attention atm. It's hard not to see it as a bit of a rip-off of Apparatus, though (I know it's actually a rip-off - sorry, licensed remake\rebrand - of another indie game). It's fun and challenging in equal measures. It's no Angry Birds.

You really do need to DL FF3. Its ridiculously addictive.
My Monk's only level 19 and he's hitting for 600-900+ . No weapons and basically a loin cloth for armour.
