When you log in the game as closed beta tester do you use the same username and password as on when logging on to war-europe.com? Been ages since I logged in on my closed beta account so don't remember.

Just because you bought CE(i did as well) doesnt mean you payed to get access, I would say you payed to be guaranteed a spot in beta.

Yeah no problem - just order a copy online.

Unless GOA totally FUBAR to the extent I /cancel within 30 days, I aim to give them until at least January before moving back to the US servers.

If the game is professionally handled up until January, then I'll stay.

Waiting until January will allow the USA servers to settle down, and make it easier to join a server faction that's underpopulated (what I did with DAoC - I always play the underdog side. With early DAoC, the in game support from the underdog players was outstanding to help you get going).

seriously doubt it and u could always setup ur network with a proxy ip then to make it seem like ur living in the states

Don't want some fool seeing my char name, or my mates for that matter, and release day manage to make the character before me, that would be gutting :/

Because GoA are notorious for screwing up and have proved time and again that they don't have a clue as to how to run a game server.

Problem is donk, this is precisely why people were telling them to get the account registration up much earlier.

It's not exactly rocket science and is a bit bleedin obvious.

lol because its GOA this is what they do balls up. I work for a big media company and we wuld have setup the site on a test server using vm ware or such and made sure it worked before we put a post saying would would be ready.

Well, thats the problem really. We are not informed. Most of the official news we get are from forum posts made by Magnus or Ianc (credit to them) The GOA website never seems to adress any problems we incounter.

Yes it is beta. But as many have stated, people actually payed to be in it.

Because we were hoping EA would have given them a kick up the arse and brought them into line, but obviously we were wrong to even trust EA to get it right.
