Not sure of the ongoing problems today as i've been at work.

But just got in, went to the key activation page - activated straight away with my details and about 5 minutes later the email confirming my 'open beta is activated' was in my inbox - no links to confirm or anything.

I pity the poor peon (singular) sitting at a desk pouring through activation emails, comparing codes by hand and clicking a big "YES" or "NO" button and having to count the letters in either option to make sure he presses the right one, as well as checking the colour (YES is obviously in green whilst NO is in red).

Poor guy.

try clearing your cache and rebooting your browser - firefox has a "Clear Private Data" option on the tools menu - untick everything apart from Cache and click "Clear Private Data now" - worked for me.

No luck, i've tried on both IE and FireFox, cleared everything out (cache, history etc), rebooted both, and in both of them the Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning link just takes me to the main front end news page with no activation stuff in sight. I can't see the 'code' button either that has been reported to be there

You should be good to go on the beta. The second key is for your headstart (which obviously hasn;t started yet) and the third is to activate additional in-game items (once the game is live and out of beta).

I dont even care about beta tbh, i care for the headstart. I am going to have to create a new account ? i should not even consider it ? i got the SS with prnt screen from my mail ofc.

hmm are you connecting from work or home? Might be a proxy between you and the website that's caching stuff...

I suspect the earlier system, that you used, wrote details straight into the 'player' database so you could instantly access the game servers - this 'temporary' system is doing it asynchronously, so we'll be slower getting our details in there.

Sorry about the client corruption - I found the Freddy's torrent way faster than the GOA site for the download, and being a torrent it's a rather good error checker for the files built in, perhaps that will get you a faster download?

Thanks for the heads up. Im using the torent from Freddys now. Since 9am this morning Ive managed to download 60%. Im already content its much faster as in the same time from the GOA client I would have achieved maybe 10% in the same tme. So a big thumbs up to Freddys. Mind you it has now slowed down horribly but that is down to my isp who has a habbit of deliberately limiting download speeds at peek times. Its nothing to do with the torrent from Freddys.
Still Im optermistic that once we are over the peek hours it will speed up again and be ready to install in the morning.
