news article gone now. maybe it means they're stopping the requests and dumping the data to it's new point to start all over again with the not yet activated lot.

I only get that up on the French site, and even that one won't let me login, says the authentication is unavailable.

I wasn't getting the "code" button either, clearing out the temp internet files and ctrl+f5 made it come up

Certain components could not be activated ? because they are incompatible with your account. We would like to advise you that those keys can be used to activate products on other account

FYI i used the first of the 3 cd keys i found in preorder box, moreoever when and how i can use my other two? one i guess is for headstart, the other one ? and which is which ?

refresh the page and try again it goes through instantly or not at all.

I'm confused, the latest link to the new activation page just loads the main news page...tried in both FF and IE, clearing cache as well.

What on earth is going on?

try clearing your cache and rebooting your browser - firefox has a "Clear Private Data" option on the tools menu - untick everything apart from Cache and click "Clear Private Data now" - worked for me.

Not sure of the ongoing problems today as i've been at work.

But just got in, went to the key activation page - activated straight away with my details and about 5 minutes later the email confirming my 'open beta is activated' was in my inbox - no links to confirm or anything.

You should be good to go on the beta. The second key is for your headstart (which obviously hasn;t started yet) and the third is to activate additional in-game items (once the game is live and out of beta).
