Judging by yesterdays email debacle, anywhere from 20 minutes to umpteen hours. I'd guess the load on the servers is still pretty high, even removing the login step of the procedure, so I'm not expecting stellar response times exactly.

Wow, you may wish to untangle your panties that are in a bunch there. Like I said, I had READ the news page before I even came here. Im saying that because the '' your key is now validated'' page is coming up instantly that NO data is being transmitted - as in no data is actually being transmitted to them for them to pour through later to send you an email.

Edit: Cheers Aurelius, yeah I imagine that is the case. Just had the same thing happen last night so im very suspicious that we'll get any kind of email at all.https://forums.freddyshouse.com/members/aurelius-lh.html

I used this page Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning and my old account details, since I never got any confirmation email for the one they made me set up yesterday - although I've yet to get the OB confirmation email, it accepted the CE OB code.

Next time you may wish to engage your brain first.

You have no way to support your theory, that is pure BS. And based on some bunies you decided to pull of your hat.

It is true that none of us can say it is working until we received the mail, but you can't state the oposite.

I work as an IT and the 30's or so my wheel was spinning was more than enough time for a well written script to move that info to a DB array for later check.

Woohoo! Refreshed the activation page, re-entered my info and it went through instantly!

Using IE7, by the way, but I usually use FF3. Just seemed to not want to work in the latter.

i think its retarded that we cant patch until we log in because thats something useful i could be doing now instead of it cutting into playtime

*sigh*

I wasn't saying that what I was saying was fact, im just stating that because of my experience last night with it validating then not actually getting an email nor patcher access that could be the case.

Oh, and congrats for working in IT....

Anyone have a timeframe till E-mail ? Or noone got theirs yet ?

Not seen one yet, but I'd give them a little time before worrying, the 'asynchronous' may mean they take the data to a different server (hell, worst case it could mean they print it out and Magnus gets to go to the database and enter it all by hand, but I suspect they have something a bit more elegant than that set up :) )

i would reload the page it should be quicker then that, most of us got it validated instantly

Well I refreshed and tried again but no idea whether its actually gone through or not. I got the spinny wheel for 2 seconds then it went back to the homepage. Was it the same for everyone else or did you get some sort of confirmation message?
