When mine activated this morning I went straight to the client. It started up no problem but after checking my files it told me that several files were missing so I needed to reinstall the entire program. Ive since discovered I had a corrupted download so Im having to download the entire thing again - all 9gb
Still I should get there sometime before the beta runs out - hopefully tomorrow or later tonight

You're not supposed to log in anymore. You go directly to the beta key authentication page via the link in the latest newspost: http://www.war-europe.com/#/activation/ .

the url you need is Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning it was posted into the news thread, you cant actually log into your account yet via the normal means. This is just a temporary solution so people can start to register their beta key, there are still problems though with an error 414 and a 1226.

i dunno lasttime i was n this chapter i had to confirm the key and stuff and now it doesnt ask it but instantly validates the subscribtion , pretty sceptic bout tis lightening blitz sbscription

I don't think it's instantly setting up your access to the game - after you use the new page,

"This will be checked via an asynchronous process and an email will be sent after a short time to either confirm your registration or to inform you of any errors."

Implies you may have to wait for an email, but even if that's not the case the impression I have from their wording is that it will be a short time before the 'game server' database gets your details so you can then actually fire up the client.

If your URL is particularly long, you can usually try shorter variations to see roughly where the limit is. If your long URL is indeed valid, then the Web server may need to be reconfigured to allow your URLs through. Understand that Web servers have to set some reasonable limit here, because they have to deal with badly programmed clients trying to give them huge garbage URLs.

1226 is more than likely an SQL error.... again when authing ("trying to") to the db.....

at a guess.....

its just that their kit cant cope with the amount of data being thrown at it all at the same time.....

According to what we've been told it's being processed asynchronously at the back end, it will probably give you an error email later.

Hey

I have registered everything and etc.

But it still wont let me login and gives me an

authentication failed everytime i try to log into the game and not the homepage.

why is that??

Can somone explain or help me out?

Like they said, the BD is in assync mode, wich means that all data is put into a buffer and is later checked and confirmed by e-mail. In your case, the e-mail you used with that fake key will later receive a mail saying the key was invalid.

You should read and understand before making assumptions.
