Yes to me this seems to be the most stupid aspect of the whole thing. I don't mind things not working as this is beta, but creating a new account for a site you already have an account for is just stupid. If they needed to tranfer the account details or add a new click through licence, why counc't they have just added a button to upgrade your account to 'Open Beta'?

It just seems like pure laziness on their part, which would have alleviated some of the problems everyone is having.

Right...I got logged in and tried to enter my CE key and it says it isnt valid! Luckily I had a "spare" open beta key and tried that. This time it says my key has expired!! ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions?

I don't think it matters anyway, I just think the mailing is all clogged up due to the large amount of people registering.

I cant even get to the Warhammer eu frontpage. The Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning does not even load for me. Just the logo on the upper part of the site.

FF3 was just giving me a blank page when i tried to register, after an hour trying i fired up IE7 and it worked immediately, just waiting for my activation e-mail, which it seems is going to take over an hour due to the overloaded goa servers that anyone with sufficient intelligence to look at the 800,000+ players who signed up could have predicted.

But hey, i played euro DAoC and goa sucked big time at that, numerous website related problems due to poorly designed and implemented pages. I really wish i didn't have 30 mates all playing that insisted that the Us servers "would have time zone issues", coz i'd take time zone issues over GOA any day of the week...

Are you going to Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning (with the www)

What browser are you using? have you got any addons/toolbars installed?

So, i put in my stuff and even used my old email...then i got a total f**up of the flash site, closed browser, reopenend the GOA page and
After 5 min of refreshing it loaded the "log in/Register" thingy. So i used my newsletter login thingy and

please insert your CD key for validation...
(as much as i hurrayed, i was baffled as my newsletter knowhere had Faya on it..)
So i put in my CD key (wherever that page came from i still wonder)
and since then i get error 300 and 414 in regular changes.
So, its now press that key all over till im lucky?

i had to create a new account with yahoo cause when i tried to put in my hotmail.co.uk account it just kept coming up with "invalid e-mail address". so ater all that i finally created the account, an hour later and still no email so i created another user account...... still no email for that either!

My guess is the OB accounts are temporary and will be wiped completely before the official launch, whereas CB accounts will continue to exist.

are ppl using the "register" button on the website or are they accessing the registration page via the "create account" button on the game launcher? I used the game launcher to access the registration section of the website and got registered with out too much hassel. well still had hassel but not as much as some ppl are having now.

Try using Internet Explorer. I suspect you are using Firefox? I get the same result with firefox, but I just use IE-tab (download it on add-ons, its great) and it works "fine"

I tried both IE and FF 3. It worked just fine two hours ago when i almost got my account done but got the this email is already in use error.


Edit: seems to work now. At least i got the site open. Trying to register now.

Should work, but it being mmo, not sure. i'd try copying the install files instead if they are still on your comp.
