I don't think any keys you have will work for the US accounts. Also, from what I heard before, the EU servers and US servers would be separated. So you would have to order a copy from North America and have it sent over to Europe if that's the way it is.

I already tried using my beta key for US account. Didn't work.

well, i am no expert on the subject either but i work with guys who would provide a similar service to some of the largest companies in ireland. with the right planing and investment there should be almost zero down time (check out vmotion, VMWare DRS etc) - I can only assume they have a serious lack of planning, finance or competence (maybe a combo of all 3).

This is GOA we are talk about, there the masters of cockups.

To be fair this mess was pretty predictable, a lot of people were saying it was crazy to leave account registration until the last minute. That should have been available two or three days ago then it would have been an orderly process with time to resolve any issues rather than the last minute rush with overloading of the entire system from image verification through email confirmation to beta key registration.

Also predictable was the lack of developer posts on most of the "unofficial official" boards once the heat was on. At times like this the lack of an official board is most noticeable (and regrettable).

Well this is a good way to spot the pro GOA Trolls. im slightly concerned with all the keys people entering having come up with an error and GOA posting new news about a patch as if nothing was wrong. Responses from IanC and MagnusK seem to be plentiful when there is good news but now the system is completely tits up and we have no one to turn to for answers
