Maybe they are using the spin the bottle method to pick who gets a email or it could be like my second account email from yesterday which something like 15 hours cause i got it at 5:25 made that account at some random time between 10 am and 1pm i think much of yesterday is a blur the anger and fury took me

Very likely, i entered my key 2hrs ago, my friend 5hrs ago neither of us have confirmation yet, another of our friends entered his key and received a confirmation 15 mins later, i'd love to know what the hell theyre up to over there.

while I agree that the people responsible should pay a price,
I hardly think death threats are an appropriate response or price to pay ..
firing a few people on the other hand would probably be a good choice,
if it wouldn't hit the wrong people, which I am fairly certain it would.

transferring the whole project to a new company might sound nice, however
that would mean all of the infrastructure built until now would have been rebuilt and that translates into an even longer waiting time

guess for better or for worse we are stuck with GOA for the time being

at least until the frustration of constant failure finally outweighs the fascination a great franchise/background like warhammer has to offer

Sure, there may have been a few death threats, but if anyone took them seriously, they deserve slapping. It's also very important to remember that Iain's original post did not mention anything liek that - he simply called everyone who was angry/upset about all the shit that's going on sociopaths, and stated it was us with the problem.

im starting to wonder wether GOA actually got its €9million new servers because the auth server is worse than useless

i wonder what this 9million euro server cluster consists off?
because the most powerful server cluster in the gaming industry is 128+ IBM LS20 blade servers with ramsan 400 SSD's which costs nowhere near 9million euros and its owned by CCP

or maybe IanC was speaking out of his backside and made the 9million euro number up

I'd guess GOA's corporate financing is looking just a little shaky right now. Mythic must be a major client for them - and if they're thinking of pulling the contract ...

I`m sure they`d be happy not to explain whats going on. I actually don`t want to know what they`re up to either, somehow feel it will only be more annoying to know. Would be nice to get an e-mail though. *snore*
