They shoulda added MP crafted items with Unique skin/gfx/particle effect that could then be spellcrafted and had say 40 Imbue points

That way people get to customise them, cant overpower them and they get to look unique.

Hell Ideal exammple is the Chain Hauberks that the Frontier Jarl's wear, if they gave a 100% Quality AF102 35% bonus breastplate wioth this skin and that was spellcraftable, that would have been a good enuff reward imo.

These were gained by erm.....luck and happening to be on-line on the day they active the last step of the campaign even though no notice was given that it would be that day (until the day itself).

y not just remove casters from the dam game......

Mythic and GOA together seem to be doing a good enough job.

Making new graphics to unique weapons/armor is just not worth it. Lots of work for a weapon that maybe drops once or even not at all wont work. These drops are cool, except the procs... Tone em down and make it fast before someone pays 100plats for one.

For an event that got a limited number of people that can enter to hand out items that can ruin the balance in RvR is not fair or sane.

Some people work hard to gain realm ranks and now you can get the same or better abilitys by a big portion of luck. Reconsider your event GOA.

Jeez...

Whilst i agree with the general concensous here... Namely, the items are somewhat overpowered.

I am utterly disgusted with the attitude of a great percentage of posters in this thread. To be honest, i shouldn't have expected more from BW but each day i live in hope.

So? They got it wrong... They (GOA) were trying to make the game a little different for us in Europe, trying to add a little variety to the mix.

Yes, they made a mistake with the items (IMO) and future events/rewards will need to take this concern on board.

But for gods sake, to start namecalling, and flaming for something they were trying to do for you guys (and got it a little wrong) is childish, and damn unapreciative.

People can learn from there mistakes...

Grow up be a little more forgiving.

have to aggree with urgat on this one.everyone was asking for events with rewards for ages, they do it and people are going nuts because the drops are too overpowered ><
they did a nice job imo, just need to change the procs on those waepons and they'll be fine.
only thing i wonder is if they actually still play this game because adding this kind of proc without realising how overpowered it is makes them look a bit clueless imo :|

You cant seriously keep those items live in the state there in now kemor, I mean it's just common sense that those items should not be there but obviously someone at GOA thought differently. Altough the uber items may keep the kiddies attentione for a week or two I doubt that the general playerbase will accept the possible RvR situation on the Euro servers just because "GOA wanted to make something different".

On a less whiney note, I liked the coop idea of the whole thing but that's completly overshadowed by the badly designed items. Better luck next time.

Too bad it was a tank only even as no caster could cast near the ck or would get 5 mobs sucking his power all over his ass, was nearly fun tho

Oh people lighten up. uber items are a great idea, we'll soon find out who's got them and he'll be no1 target, no amount of special items is gonna save your group from a 3 grp zerg who is specifically looking for you.
Wonder how much you could get for one, as soon as it's decided to keep them?

Please Kemor, kep them in the game, RVR needs all the help it can get.

Aye, ask yourself if you got it would you give it back for the health of RvR? Bollocks you would, this thread is based on the fact that people don't have the drop themselves.

I wouldent give it back. But i wouldent mind if GOA removed the proc or redused them since atm they are way to overpowerd.

This isnt about greedy. If I would get weapon like that, I would drop it in a ground or salvage it since those items are WAY TOO OVER POWERED. Try to imagine rvr grp when MA is using one of those weapons.

RvR is not balanced to start with, lots of classes can't get groups and it's a completely elitist environment. About time it was shaken up a bit.

I hope the only ppl who get those drops are thanes - even the claws!!!

even if an experienced rvr'er would get them it's just a matter of time, like Kemor said, and it'll be wasted. Killing ppl and or mobs 24/7 with it simply means it'll be gone in a few weeks, and tbh with all the zergs it won't matter as both Mids or Albs got them and if the experienced get them as said they'll meet eachother soon anyway.

but tbh, nerft the stats abit down, but keep the weapons, i mean a small reminder of an event would be nice. Altough next time giving everyone a small reward, like getting a medal for taking the keep for everyone in the keep at that moment, including cross realms, who then can turn in the medal at one of the event npc's for one item of choice, being a new model etc. but not with the uber procs like these have.
That way everyone has a nice event to remember, now it's just, we need to zerg first next event.....

Kemor ment to say that with "decay" he ment the use of an item. Which will eventually let it decay to some crap wep with 70% Con 0% Dur

you know how long time a mp qual weapon last in the hands on for eksample a SB or Infil...enough for the char to be unbeatable for several months or longer would be my guesse..might as well give such a char the abillity to right-click for insta kill

My huntress has a MP Legion vest. She's had it for over a year and used it in numerous fights. It's been repaired once or twice, and has yet to loose any Durability at all. That's an indication how long MP gear lasts. ;P
