Same one as me.okay I bit the bullet and got a 1080! I ended up with the Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080 - iChill X3 - 8GB. Those pesky review sites tell me I'll be fine with it for a good time to come and it should outperform my two 970's well enough. Although it was quite expensive at 700odd eurobucks (~3000 GBP) it was over 100 eurobucks cheaper than the Asus. Sooooo if anyone wants to take my 970's off my hands, I still have the boxes and everything. The cards work quite well for all their flaws tbh.
I'm toying with the idea of a mining box atm so no thanks, I don't want your Nvidia cards.
I'm sure you will be happier with the 1080 than the 970s although I await the "do I or don't I" comments next year when HBM2 lands.
LG just announced a deeply sexy 38" curved ultrawide (3840x1600!) but it only has FreeSync.depends a bit on what monitor I'll have. I'm not entirely chuffed with this Acer XB321HK tbh.

What monitor are you looking at to replace this one?
Do you get graphical artifacts (random patterns briefly appearing) for about the first minute after booting up? Mine seems to :/played some DOOM too. tbh consistent over-60FPS on 4K at my settings. I've even cranked up some things that I normally dial down like shadows and reflections. short term conclusion is that this gfx card is ridiculous and will basically do whatever I want.
Hold up - you're all buying 1080 Nvidias at £600 each?
I have a single GTX970 at the moment and it seems fine - I only have a 24" monitor mind you.

Well on my lappy it looks good 970m. On my desktop it stutters like feck 760That Forza Horizens 3 looks alright, any good?
