2nd Is Beating Brad hands down on my shade last sunday evening , kinda cheered me up as rvr was shit all day .. i got abit lusky maybe with full pa chain no ip/rr5 ability up for him i guess

Hehe yeh you was lucky, had a ns pop on me about 20 seconds earlier, and still had malice proc and poison left on me, was thinking of resting as i thought he wouldn't be back for a while as he had run away. I wasn't expecting to get pa'ed again, and as had no purge up, or anything up i was preety unlucky.

I managed to get slam of but you purged right away, and at that time i only had like 20% hp left.

Atleast your happy lol, was abit embarrisng dying to a RR3 ns though, doesn't usualy happen to me.

I always started out solo/duo (with Lox, sometimes Stabz). But as the hib zerg increased in numbers, and we got out-numbered 3:1, we brought in a few extras to even out. It's rly a shame that most of the hibs back then never wanna admit that.

You made it impossible to get past Hmg in odins, fg stealthers with minstrel in it always. Don't remb many times where you where found solo until u where rr7+ tbh...Don't get me wrong you where hard to kill when ever you where foudn solo, having 9 s df n stuff but, as I said I remb you as a zerger, not a soloer :d

Very difficult to say.

My oldest fond memory was my first ever real solo kill, I was about level 45 in emain and found a level 50 BM in the trees SW of AMG who had not spotted me yet, I attacked him and after a good battle I won, it was thrilling and the first time I realised I could be good at that.

Later when I was 49 I had a fight with the nearest thing I had to a nemesis back in the old days which was a skald called Optical who some old timers may remember. It was memorable as it was a running battle that took us all over the entire Forest Sauvage zone from CS to Excalibur and everywhere in between and lasted for hours as we kept fighting then he'd escape and it would become a contest of who could recover the quickest to fight again. Never ever had a fight like that again since and I won in the end when I resisted his stun the last time he tried to escape.

Many months later in the same zone I had a great 2 v 2 with me and Kestrel vs Zoia and a warrior which was probably the best duo fight i've ever had.

And finally there was a huge zerg fight in Odins at hmg where I was the last man standing with about 5 hibs left and after chasing and fighting with them all over the gate I finally finished them off. The feeling of being the only one remaining with dozens of dead albs, mids and hibs around me was quite exceptional and I was bombarded with pm's from the dead players.

Sadly though I can't say I have any real fond memories since NF, NF rvr is simply missing that certain something that was magical about old frontiers.

Ahh, camping HMG and getting PMs on mirc from pissed off hibs. And constantly getting banned from that stealth-channel by either Adari or Alderan (i think he is called). Those were the days

I still believe Post Mortem was created with the sole purpose of killing me in Odins. And the countless RPs I got from them members... mmmm (ok ok, im rdy now for the flames ) hehehe, well... I loved every single minut of old frontiers etc. See Hidden and 9 sec stun of evade+DW style were "kinda" OPed

all the completely sick fights in OF, fg vs 5 - 8fg's and still going out on top.

however too many to name all of them. but a huge zerg fight at levithans in emain vs first 2fgs hibs (vgn and some others), then gol adding with 2fgs when we were not done with the hibbs, then FC and BF incoming aswell later. and some more random albs.

or old fights vs late night groups in si (hibs) they would come in 4 - 5fgs on stick and would be really good fights that lasted very long, and would win some loose some, was really nice.

have had some fun in NF too with rm and alb zerg at the start, and had very nice runs with set groups aswell, but not even close to as fun as it used to be in si.

the best thing ever was month or so after ToA, was a epic battle by mmg Hadrians Wall, after a relic-raid.. was a massive 3-realm fight (looked like 100's of people) on a slope not far from mmg, and I was standing up on the hills with my scout leeching like hell(kinda putting 1 arrow in everyone for max rp-leech)

A fg mids was pulling shredders below mid drinkers, as the warrior went off and pulled 15'ish red/purp shredders, I shot and killed their only healer xD shaman tried to heal but they aaaall got exp deaths

You belive to much in your self if you think PM was created for you. It was created by friends that liked each others. We had alot of stealth zerg vs stealth zerg fights but WE won most of them as we where better organized.

my first pbae group with when my warden Panzer was lvl 30ish organised by Treson the BM and a mana eld called .... mm cant remember his name but he had a NS called Eriu and a druid called Corwyn Willowdale, old GM of Mist Wraiths ....

XPing on Gorge Rats near DL in OF with 1 person on guard watching for the FG purp mids that always raided there and legging it as soon as we heard "INC!!".. and always dieing....

Long drunk friday night GG's with Kelpie and friends laughing my ass of talking about bollocks (not literally!) ..

Taking a lvl 25-35 GG into OF odins and us getting hunted down 1 by 1 by a red con skald called Jagang, and no matter what we tried we couldnt catch up with him (no bard you see ) ...

And of course my first kill in rvr at lvl 21 with my old light eld in OF odins which was some blue con tank .. god my adrenaline was pumping after that...

Leek and Sephirot arguing over all sorts of stuff and generally falling out..

I guess reading back its the old friends that have slowly moved on which give me the fondest memories....

Other was in Odins (OF), when we took bledmeer (FC fg+ 4 adds) and just killed mids for about. 12 hours, 260k at those hours.

and last, when i finally got SC and soloed the first RR10 of them all, Kallistor, the most feared runemaster tho all times

all i can remember as the best rvr moment was the very first time i played an assasin in rvr! it was a friends infil named maxlight on prydwen. after showing me the buttons etc i ported to emain and took my first step in rvr. so after a 5min or so search near amg i finaly found an rr3 ns next to doors. the infil was rr7 so my friend was like "kick the shit out of im" so i pushed the nearest enemy button or thought i pushed it at least and started hacking, after 2 styles i realised that his health wasnt droping but mine although slowly did, and my friend had almost fell of his chair laughing. so finaly i died and when i looked at the chat i saw a row of messages saying "u perform ur amy perfectly-u hit the door for xx dmg"........

Best memories from DAoC is when i was lvl37 with autotrain Stealth running around with 18sb's/hunters+ in emain(OF) Apk trees stealthing and unstealthing afteranother all the time just to tell the gangbangers that there are stealthers near and killing all the albs getting close, even LoE SOtL untill tehy got like 3fg's + just to kill us :worthy: had an SB fraping it(Jonna) but he quit and dint give the movie

And the second best is when i dinged 50 on a hib \o/

not in my experience of you. odins was like the place u would go to solo to get away from AMG emain which was SZ central. Remember many times in the See Hidden era u ran with FG's in odins and just used to literally uncover solo'ers and let the FG pwn the guy. followed with a nice bout of emote spammage.

ofc though im lying, and you only ever did it stuff like that as revenge after getting SZ'd, or u only ever did it to zergers (just to save u the effort to reply)

Hehe not quite, but those days of rvr in odins were my favourite of all time. Battling you, loxely and samildanach at from AMG to HMG was classic. You three were alot of PM nemesis(s) and ploughing you into the ground kept us coming back for more.

You three trained us PM fellows in the old days, like the old punch bags, except u hit back hard. I agree those were the best rvr times..

Yeah... what a shame that I never was at amgE except when I died then I was there to pass amgE again.

Half of the people here are talking bullshit, I never stayed at amgE or went for 3h+ to Odins and I never grouped with Meduza/Stabz .
Odins was "free" rps , lots of lowbie stealthers who where all "learning" the class and sometimes someone decent came out but still wtfpwndragonfang > all in those days ( except Mumin he was nasty ! ).
Ofcourse I went there with Elajt for +-2h but that only happend like once in 2 months when we needed some fast rps if we where close to our ding. I had some good fights in Odins but they never came close to the best fights that I had in Emain.
You could easly get 40k in a few hours in Odins wich in Emain took me and Elajt a whole day
Yes this is _my_ view on Odins. No insult towards Meduza since he was always in Odins and he prolly was good on the Infil.. I dont know it since I never played with him, all I know about him is that he gained his RRs fast.

anyway ontopic: I had alot of good moments, the fights with Jox and Salamurhaaja always were good but this one I will never forget. I killed 2 sbs and 1hunter,after the fight i'm on 15%hp and I just re-stealthed then suddenly Grimster pops infront of me but the luck was on my side. I had a straight evade on the first hit that he did so he died aswell with me on 5% left.
Not that bad for an "amgE" camper

Was prob after that he rolled his savage :/

Other than that playing in SI/OF with atrocity and the groovegang was always good fun!!!!

For me playing in semi-regular full groups have been the most enjoyable part for sure... to name some:

- zerker in finnish group with finnish ventrilo long time ago, think it was mostly in summer 2003

- cleric and theurgist with public enemies

- zerker and healer with blizzard/ab/groove crew

- last but definitely not least, playing with the crazy åland people (sign of the hammer) was always great fun, made me laugh so much every time
