Remember having some great fights in olde froniters and in the new one to. think the best fight i have had recently was me(sorc) and 3 clerics grp'd up came up against a grp of 4 hibs. Lost the mezz but the clerics keep eveyone healers and we managed to kill thier healer and then clean up

Was quite amusing.

this morning from 7am, watching 2fg of albs plus sorcs and di bots roaming in odins pissing about with towers, camping the bridge killing soloers, stealth loreing stealthers, camping the dock merchant so you cant buy a ticket for a boat and generally being fucking retards that will disappear at prime time because they have as much skill as a peice of ham in an egg box

good moment: one time in Hadrians at irvr i leeched 8-9k with hammer of doom on a single zergfight (thane heaven)

best moment: when i killed a pala and a cleric at once. killing 2 people at the same time with thane is good imo (cant remember their RR, long time ago but my RR was not more then 3LX )


And every long solo fight i have either if i win or loose is great.
And i usualy enjoy keep sieges. (call me a roleplayer, dont care its fun )

Its odd that you fail to see the fun in it, take a look the lvl of my char in the SS, its 48, we are against high RR player, obviously my skills are out of no use against him, he had to even cast ability still to be able to defeat us, and in the end it was the pet who managed to get the last bits of health of him , resulting his death.

But atleast for me it was fun, feeling powerful for that one moment.

best OF: borrowed a mates bard, invited 7 animists and camped amg in emain..think we killed nolby 3 times that day (they got us once aswell) aswell as the normal alb zerg a few times...that was the just pure fun

Best DF: Playing SM: 3 alb infs jump me, pet intercept most hits, i pbaoe em all to death with 90% HP left and 10% on pet.

Best NF: Playing healer in a randomkeepdefence....pushing albs back..they got reinforcements and came again..back and forth..by the end of the day i was the #1 on /stats Heal and had gained 60k rps (still my record this day)

Few stand out for me as nice memories or uber fights and then some fond ones

When I used to duo (me on my sb) with Tyrani (hunter) a lot we had one fight near blend that was alb occupied. We were stealthing down the road from glen and as we got close to blend we spotted 2 infils. I moved in to PA one of them with mezz venom as Tyr started to shoot the same one as soon as I had popped him.

As I got in PA range I noticed a scout with them aswell but thought what the hell and hoped their purge was down so we still had a decent chance if mezz stuck. I PA'd and the first one went down fast with Tyr assisting. The 2nd infil and scout were still mezzed when i moved to the 2nd infil and Tyr moved in with uber spear of doom. by this point it was now a 2v2 with with scout hitting us aswell so we concentrated on killed the infil first as soon as the infil died 2 more stealthers popped on us and started hitting us too.

We blew jsut about everything we had - I used 3 diff mezz venom swords, and 4 other swords with poisions aswell as purge, malice charge and dot mine while Tyr blew everythign she had too. The fight ended with the 2 of us on 10% health each and 5 dead bodies on the floor and we both said that was one of the best fights we had ever had

Second uber fight was a silly one and will get the responce "omg ffs nerf sm's" lol. I think it was late one night around 1am so there weren't many ppl on but I remember being with Nate and Bunji so there was me on sm and 2 rm's jsut roaming to see if we coudl find anything to have a scrap with.

There was no insta port so we all got the boat to beno but it ended up with me gettin the boat after them so we got split up with them moving inland before I arrived at the raized beno tower to see no enemies other than a few albs at beno keep door. They obviously had seen me and my pet so decided to come over and say hello.

I had time to drop a mine and a speedwarp before running behind part of the raised ruins of the tower and thought I would try and get an ae mezz in and mebbe drop 1 or 2 of them before biting the bullet. As they closed in my mezz landed perfectly on 5 of them but 3 more were closign in fast behind them so I immediately ml9'd my pet and sent it after one of the non mezzed ones while I rooted another and then lifetapped the 3rd. I got an uber crit and killed the first one very fast so as the 5 were still mezzed killed the rooted one next and then moved backwards to the shoreline down the hill with just enough sight to finish off the one my ml9 pet was battering.

I knew they would come after me so went underwater and waited a few seconds and sure enough 2 of them came under and were met with lifetaps, debuffs and my ml9'd pet and died fast. At this point i thought the last 3 had run off so went up to the surface to see all 3 of them looking for me on the slope so after popping a power pot and jacinas charge went to attack and got mezzed so blew purge and planned to drag them back to the water again but they cought me so I moc'd and started lifetapping the caster and petted another.

Soon as the first caster went down i sprinted underwater again with my pet with 1 on full health and 1 half health. They both followed me and were met with my pet and my debuffs and lifetaps and both died so in the end it may not have been a fg but it was 8 ppl all moving together in 5 and 3 and was one of those fights were you get a tonne of luck, the jump and you use your skill and abilities to the full and manage to win.

The fight lasted about 5 mins in total but was one of the most fun and exciting encounters I have had in rvr and only one of them was a blue con - rest were lev50's

Fond memories which will no doubt pi$$ some stealthers off was one sunday afternoon I think when a few of us in TR were playing stealthers and sick and tired of gettin farmed around beno to berk (mid had berk at that time) by the infils and assisting scout zerg so we formed a stealth counter zerg which was later to be known as "Azzrayana's retard stealth zerg" by someone in a later whine post on here rofl.

We ended up with 5 hunters and 3 sb's battering anything that came in front of us. It lasted about 2 hours as a fg and was hilarious but not something we woudl even have considered under normal circumstances as personally I prolly spent 50% of my time on sb solo and rest of it duo with occasional trio but for those 2 hours we were having a absolute riot

also remember when infil was fun to play and 1-shoting ppl didnt remove stealth. always as fun when u killed a caster in the middle of a keep, with the mid zerg in it and got away with it =D the adrenaline!

reminds me of the time in OF heading back from mpk to mmg at mincer speed and korv (iirc) 1shots Outlaw in the middle of the grp w/o dropping stealth.

funny, for us. dont think Squadron Leader Outlaw was laughing! xD

Oh, and I used to enjoy playing merc assist trains, back in ancient times when mercs were there to deal damage rather than interrupt, aswell as not every group having DI :d

My best memories is when i was first playing daoc first release of ToA and i was a roged cleric that had 33 smite and rest rej for groups i could solo 1 orange + 1 yellow con mob xD at barrows but the problem was that in rvr group they was keep saying WTF R U A CLERIC OR WHAT STOP SMITING xDDDDDDDD all that in an open field that was called OF and i miss that very much :/ no memories to say about NF all crap really..........

good memories of volleying ATK old emain like from ridiculous range. was like farting in a bees nest like literally 50-100 albs would come burning up the slope looking for you.

certain relic raid which went right to the wire, and I got killed running away with relic was awsome.

other highlights include vipr finally (under intense duress) agreeing to bind up assist macros.

aloca, after months of underperforming realised he was missing like 50 str from his template.

making like thousands of plats gatewaying soms.

switching to melee ranger and recording 3rd vid. 2 minute FZ patch including removal of SH. a patch where rangers trully rocked from pure FZ abuse.

2 minute FZ patch including removal of SH. They made a patch to get rid of Sarumans Hand?!? .

Funniest moment is deffo after Bradlex had qq'd here about Synergy buff shearing him when he had spent 15 minutes getting to Boldiam. Guess what, we found him in Emain, argued like fuck about who was going to do the dastardly deed, buff sheared him then mezzed so Xroo could weapon debuff him too

Best Experience for me was in old frontiers. I was rr6 and fired stealth lore at emain AMG to find 4 mid stealthers. I killed a then low realm rank vanguard followed by 2 other shadow's when Gupet popped on me and i managed to kill him by landing a diamond back and following through with post evade chain combo. I had a very early version of Elixir of Invigoration and toa had just started and i never ran out of endurance ..just meh health went down. My SoM procced like a bitch during the fights..probably around 6-8 times. At the end of the fight against Gupet i think i was on around 2 % Health when i felt my spine rip open from Dwera ..who had been silently watching me from the shadows....

Wow you probably did it in total 2 times in my entire daoc life.

Not like it matters anyway, bet you get more hassle for having a shit rep in rvr and having most people add on you without hesitation, sure you've had more wasted time due to that than i did from the small in conveniance of being buff sheared, which i can just replace with charges.
