To clear a few things up, I may as well have my say: don't fucking start another row though please, I'm not resurrecting the thread for that.

About the ban. No objections to the actual ban, although I wasn't pleased at all with the way my post was edited. The post was edited so it had my first couple of words, and then an edit from the mod saying (no telling people to die here). This annoyed me, because for anyone that didn't get to read the thread and post, it looks like an attack on someone, which it wasn't. I said it was a seriously dodgy post, and if there was any racial hatred behind the post, whether genuine or based on stereotypes for the sake of 'humour' (which no-one found funny, no-one) THEN they should do the bannable. Now, in response to a racist remark, I personally think that is fair. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. They're both totally out of order and have no right to be here, according to the CoC etc etc. I also stated in my post WHY I did not report it, but this was handily edited out of my post too, thanks ever thoughtful people. You'll notice people made posts as to say 'why didn't you report it then' etc etc? The answer was there but rudely and unecessarily edited out.

I didn't get a chance to think about it any further, what I typed in response to the remark was a natural reaction of disgust, and I had logged off straight after making that post. So please mods, do not tell users I saw people warning me about my post, because I simply wasn't even anywhere near a PC. I'll use telepathy next time shall I?

On the back of the trouble it caused, and the fact that the comment clearly caused concern in other people than me, I would have expected a removal of the racist comment that caused the backlash to prevent any more offense or problems. Instead the post was allowed to stay. Bizarre. Racism in CoC = banned. Wishing to die in CoC = banned. GWAN THE SCALES OF JUSTICE!



You know what the really funny thing was though? Maz didn't know I was me. MORON! hah!
