Where the heck does it mention that in the CoC? It just says tell people to die and get a ban... If you are going to have a CoC could you please uphold it? I agree I think moderating needs to done properly as spelled out in the COC, but its a sad day when the guy that is aiming to try and level the playing field for all, is accused by the staff of annoying people simply because he refuses to put up with the crap they hand out to all and sundry.

Still that aside I am sure I was wrong all along, you carry on exactly the way things have always been done, in fact exactly the way things have always been done everywhere and I am sure you will follow the same well worn path again. Its old and boring to those that hate the truth, but BW was formed out of friendship and the desire to play games together. Elite sucks big time in my opinion and always will, elite morons killed the UK online gaming scene as we know it. Your opinion is fine, but you don't need to attack people. Abuse like that is against the CoC and as a mod I think you should uphold those rules. If not people will start thinking 'It's ok for a mod to do it, so I can too'.

Before you go, consider this please... you refer to Elite, which I am not a part of in my view... I am a mod, but I am not what would be considered 'old school' for want of a better expression. Yes, I know a few of the characters around the place, and as a mod I have read alot of their posts, but I don't differentiate between any individual users on the basis of how long they have been around.

You raised some interesting points in other threads which have provoked discussion and might prompt change, but don't expect it to happen overnight. You provoked thought amongst folks round here, and whether it leads to the changes you would like to see or not, you did what you could. If the changes you would like tosee don't happen, is that a reason to quit?

The CoC is there and it is enforced, with a relaxed and sensible outlook, and a keen eye on what is right and wrong. If it changes as a result of recent discussions then we will continue to enforce it in the same way.

People told you to foadoa (i believe, not sure tbh and never agreed with it) and after that happend the coc was introduced. Also if that happend to you, why are you attacking drum who is almost in the same place as you were.

At the end of the day, you've come here and started moaning about all these issues that we should address where as the majority of people were quite happy as they were. Sure, they could have done it in a slightly more polite manner.. but honestly - why should they?

This is fucking stupid. Why can't people get over themselves. Jupitus has been attacking me all night in irc using all sorts of abusive language. I've failed to react by using abuse towards him and it seems he can't handle that hes the only one dealing abuse. He has no way to get at me but to ban me from the channel.

He began the attacks on me, in #freddyshouse, talked in pm for a while where he continued to insult my intelligence and try to push his 'intellectual superiority' onto me. After a while he took it back into #freddyshouse, I continual asked him to PM me about it because nobody else wants to listen but he refused and continued to use insults such as 'immature ****' and 'twat'. Immature? He's the one who insists on continously yelling abuse at me in a public chatroom...

Then when I refuse to respond in a violent manner he gets me baned just to get at me.

The sexual inuendo is seeping out of FH, Big Brothers message of the week is "read the CoC", moderators are "upholding the CoC", we're told Ted & Deebs are "looking at the CoC", and, "a new CoC will be released soon". Some people want rid of the CoC and some think it should be adhered to at all times. I think that everyone has their own personal CoC and there's usually no problems until their CoC seems to overstep Freddy's CoC - which was developed by Ted & Deebs. Freddy's CoC has to accommodate all the FH registered users (how many?) which I suppose means that Freddy's CoC has to be much wider, and have far greater scope, than yours or mine. It will eventually happen that some of the users will argue over their respective CoCs and compare it to Freddys, then the moderators have to settle disputes. I suppose it just complicates things that Freddy's CoC is having a make-over during this dispute.

The points you originally made were not wrong, they were not right either. Some of the things you said about the gaming scene in the UK and why it failed were true. But to mirror those thoughts to FH and blindly accuse people of being elite was wrong. You keep throwing that word around, not explaining what you mean, I doubt anyone here considers themselves elite.

You come across as very very patronising, especially as you are constantly telling us what we are or aren't.

REmember the boy who cried Wolf? Maybe you would have been better off making your point once and just leaving it, it may have had some impact then. No one needs to be told the same thing again and again wether its right or wrong.

I urge everyone that has directly been accused of being elite by Drum to change their titile to "elite". That way we can identify those of us that are detrimental to FH and the entire UK gaming scene.
