Wot no trinkets?

I've got to 1037 in Armour Crafting but my metal working has fallen behind (1021) and there are no trinkets available for me to make.

Do I need to keep my secondary skills close to my main skill? If yes could someone please tell me how?

use fletching if you want to increase your metalworking? or weaponcrafting? But no id if you actually need to get it higher

Not sure about armour crafting, but when it comes to weapons you should strive to keep your secondary skills within 15-20 points of your primary.
That's due to them being used to make the hilts/heads/etc, thus need have high enough skill to make said things.

But since no such things are needed for armourcrafting, I reckon it won't matter much.

_If_ you do encounter problems though, use fletching as suggested.
Make arrows/bolts that require metal to make and you metalskill will rise.
Yes, even though your metalskill is 100x and your fletching is 10x.

Nifty, eh?

you can use wc as well as fletching to raise metalworking

fletching is easier then weaponcrafting at low levels tho.

Thanks for the replies peeps!!!!! I didn't know you could do that.

This will feel weird dong noddy low level items (arrows) costing a few copper so I can craft +1000 items ........ but I ain't complaining

ick. getting to 1k+ and making trinkets to raise secondaries all the way there :scared: must have wasted hours!
