If Algeria can beat Germany they can beat anyone left in the tournament. They certainly aren't sitting back expecting a 1-0 sneak result. They are entertaining to watch.

And if Germany had anyone other tgan Neur in goal Algeria would have been through about 5 times.

Yes but quite a few of the shots have been directly at him.

Neuer has had the harder time, his defense have left him so exposed.the decision making from him each time he's come out has been brilliant. probably had more touches outside his area than inside it!

First half of the season he was superb, second half he didn't turn up. But it was his first season so I can forgive him.

He played consistently for Madrid cal.. Not an excuse it being his first season in England for me. I felt he couldn't cope without the other superstars around him, don't think he liked being the big fish.

Well done Algeria, never looked outclassed and gave it all to the very last second. They looked dead on their feet yet never gave up and glad they at least got the consolation their play deserved. Sad to see them go home

What an outstanding game of football that was! Germany looked shellshocked for the first 20-30 minutes, don't think they were expecting Algeria to come flying at them. England could learn a lot from teams like Costa Rica and Algeria and the tactics/style of play of some of the teams we've seen so far.

Great performance from both teams and great advert for the game.

Other than Englands shit performance and Suarez this has been an outstanding tournament so far, some great attacking football, great goals and a distinct lack of 11 behind the ball and lets play for penalties.
