Chilly..you have a gambling problem and dont say you haven't because it will be denial

:D

I do exhibit quite a few of the symptoms of having a gambling problem. However, I do this professionally (as in, it pays my bills and holidays and the rest) and have been for 2 years. Most of my gambling is fancy pants high frequency automated trading, this football stuff is a bit of an experiment. Also: it's only a problem if you lose.

Pepe note to self.
Headbutt a brazil player and he'll try to set a new guinness rolling record - try it on the german, and he'll jump up in your face.

Touch a German above the chest and he'll go down like he's been punched by Mike Tyson. Pathetic shit ruins football.

No issue with the sending off but the overacting dive that resulted in Pepe's stupidity should merit a card as well. Acting to get a player sent off should merit a red in turn. Fed up with seeing this shit in football. FIFA need to start penalising players post game on video evidence if the refs do nothing. He barely touched his face and yet he goes down like he has an arrow in the eye. Needs to be stamped out of the game.

If you gamble on random events then you will lose as sure as the sun rises, but if you're using a wealth of experience to gamble on stock and shares you certainly can win..as traders do everyday using inside info..and to think people have convinced themselves they dont.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say? Suddenly you're going on about the stock market being corrupt? I'm telling you that with experience, skill and discipline anyone can win gambling on sports. Sporting events are not random events. There is a wealth of form available that is open to interpretation. Ladbrokes, William Hill et al: they all employ teams of stats and probability guys to interpret that form and other available info. Often they get it wrong, sometimes they get it so wrong that it's worth betting and very occasionally they get it so incredibly wrong that it becomes worth backing England to win something.

If you don't believe me, I don't really care. I'm just trying to correct your false assumptions.

I was referring to the roulette wheel or dice for random events..of course you can access a wealth of stats for sports but so do the bookies and then they stack the odds in their favour..you just have to be lucky to win..bookies make billions..it comes from the pockets of punters who think they can win.

From around £160 in £1 bets last season I made around £1500, a couple of 200/1 winners...first goal scorer and final result usually.

If only I had the balls to bet real money I could make a fortune.

Different kettle of fish to spread betting and whatnot, I just go by form and "a feeling"

Cracking performance by the USA

One of these days (probably not this one) I can see the USA winning the World Cup. They are starting to shovel some serious money into the grassroots side of things - sure it will never compare to basketball, rounders, handegg, drive-by shootings and the other things the Americans love, but bearing in mind there are 300 million of them over there, it doesn't need to be.

Christ, how much of that magic foam did the ref use for that free kick?! I thought the Belgium player was going to slip over on it.

I agree about the USA, they are very organised about sport and encourage it at a youth level. They will be a top side with in ten years.

The Mexican goalie has made some outstanding saves. The Germans or Dutch would pump them.

If the ref hadn't screwed Mexico in the first game they would be top of the group on goal difference if this stays a draw.

Was saying this to someone today, they have such an awesome infrastructure in place, if they wanted to win the world cup they could plan it out for the next 12-20 years and do it quite easily IMO.

And if the ref hadn't butt fucked Croatia, Brazil wouldnt be getting very far.

Anyone know if Neymar can actually pass? He's a shocking #10
