Would a United Korea be more powerful than China? I think not. Back in 1950 when McArthur and the UN troops saved South Korea it was only the fear of the war escalating and China (and possibly the USSR) being involved that stopped them from taking the battle into North Korea.

Has sixty years changed the balance of world power so hugely? Sure they may have atomic weapons but I doubt that China would want them escalating matters either.

I would prefer Crouch his ratio for England is impressive yet he's still used as a sub. Really annoys me how he is ignored most of the time.

Capello was quoted as knowing his team bar two positions - goalkeeper and second striker to play with Rooney. He said it was between Heskey and Defoe.

I think Heskey would be very unlucky to be dropped as his all round centre forward player was top-notch, and there is no way that the chance he missed (which he created himself) was "a sitter".

Top spot might come down to goal difference, however, so Defoe could well get the nod.
