Spain have been great so far and deserve to be in the final. The way they passed the ball and defended yesterday was majestic!

This. I've thought they were workmanlike in most of their games but the game yesterday, against what I consider to be a very good German team, was top. Especially the second half.

Yeah, I love the way they just pass it around midfield for 10 minutes, its even better when the ball makes it all the way back to the defenders. Oh wait, no I don't.

C'mon, the whole swiss team should have run to the nearest casino the moment the game ended.

Props to them for holding the bus in front of their goalkeep for 90min. Showed the world the only way you can beat Spain (or current Barça for all that matters). Build a 11 man-wall inside your box and pray for a freekick, corner or lucky play to net 1 goal.

All in all, i give you this: you are right in the very single problem of Spain, the lack of definition once they take the passing near the rival's box. Villa is an ace striker, but Spain would be round with a true 9 like VanNistelrooy, Drogba, Klose or Forlan.

For once I'll be happy enough for either side to win. Its always good to get a new World Cup winner, and both sides deserve it, Spain for their current side and the Dutch for being so near so often.

I already predicted this final for our sweepstake so I'm happy anyway, but I need Spain to win to scoop the pot, but I'd personally lean towards the Dutch (despite my visceral hatred for Arjen Robben).

I just hope its a good game, but I'm not holding my breath, and I'll probably only watch it between feeds and burps anyway.

Justice served. I have to admit I started the game supporting the Dutch, but short of donning capes and twirling moustaches, could they have been more evil? De Jong and Van Bommel in particular should have been off by half-time. Sorry Dutchies but your team were shameful thugs last night.

Shit Final, shocking tackles from the Dutch, I am even more embarrased at some of the Spanish diving and over acting.

Iniesta got that young right back booked and he didn't even touch him, looked like he had been shot in the back while taking a rampant rabiit up his arse for the yelp he let out.

On a positive the worst world cup ever has been won by supposedly the best team in the world playing the most boring football around. Pretty much sums the whole thing up for me, Glad it's finished!!!!!

So much for total football - the netherlands basically surrendered before the game started from the tactics they played and the thuggery was disgusting.

They were so lucky the ref didnt really see that karate kick to the chest or they would have been on 10 men a lot earlier.
