While yes the performance wasn't good enough I'm sick of people saying Rooney has been rubbish. He hasn't even had a decent ball played into him for 2 games notice how he goes deeper and deeper into midfield to get the ball so he can try and do something.

It's the service up to the strikers that's the problem there has been no through balls that a striker like Rooney would run onto instead its been played around the wings with no end product into the box.

The rest has been wing stuff with no end product, corners? Hell they struggled to get it past the first man. Crosses? What crosses there was nothing for the front men to work with at all.

I think thats a gross over-simplification of the many issues in the side. It doesnt excuse all the awful passing, general sloppiness and sleepwalking that seemed to effect the whole team.

He has been bloody awful, no doubt about it. That doesn't make Adaa any less right though, the service he has had was fucking awful in both games. Combine both and he is having his worst run of games in 3 years, he needs to be dropped for a game or two because his head is not right and he is now feeling sorry for himself.
