Ok ok so im a bit biased!! But as Karem put it in an earlier post, it is difficult to measure skill in this kind of game, compared to a game such as CS. If you are basing it on RP's then surely sum1 like Tankster from LA should be top of the list, or any1 from LA simply because of the Rp/Guild member ratio which currenty stands at about 1million. There are players from lower guilds that wont stand out, purely because of the guild they are in. In my opinion, the best player in the game, isnt just the person with the most Rp's or Rp's per hour or whateva. It would be the person that brings the most to game. Helpful, good in RvR, kind, friendly, willing to listen to constructive critiscm of which there aren't many about. Obviusly, i would class any SS member in this catergory but im sure there will be people to dispute this. Non SS in this catergory, would be Rude, Bogonar(nicest chap in DoAC i have ever met), Blacksoul and kiarra.

Think when rp's come in for healing and rezzing, there will be a better reflection of the current "measurement". Lots of tireless support classes out there doing hard work ad getting very little/no recognition.

But I think people get a good indication playing along side various people whether they are good or not.

Cuthervaen(champ) is someone who hasn't been mentioned and stands out to me, I can't recall ever having died in one of his groups, as well as Cjkace(BM).

And a very sane point, this. I think it is a bit hypocritical (is that a word?) to vote on your own realm's players, since that means you get very biased results favoring those you have grouped with a lot (to see what I mean, see Badazz calling me the best Cabalist above ). So, I suggest that we ignore votes cast on own realms (even if it sometimes is hard to know the class of your enemies).

Entire thing's completely subjective of course, and I don't have a definitive list, but credit where credit's due -

minstrel - hmm, close tie this one, but shortlist is either Belomar or Naren ( 2 damned good, intelligent players), scout is light (sadly no longer played), armsman - no doubt here, but a very close tie between calvin and draylor, sorcerer with no doubt is mazter...wizzy, well wildfire gets my vote, whilst clerics (apart obviously from my good self) then Teddytwo is one of the best..

SB: Creep, never EVER failed to surprise me with all kinds of nasty escaping tricks and his insane ability to judge whether to go for bs2 or pa.
Hunter: Nolbypride, I hate to admit but lightning quick reflexes and a cool head during a fight, after a fight is another matter entirely
Skald: Madeleine, for always being at the right place at the right time and having some of the best survival skills i've seen.
NS: Original Iziz, for having a completely different style to all the other assassins and always being VERY unpredictable and hard to find.
Druid: Motorhead, for being as imposing as wuren even though his class isn't
Ranger: Eleasias because well there is no other.
Hero: Novamir because he's the only guy to beat me and steph solo with quick thinking and smart fighting.
Eld: Tyka for pulling off some nice stunts and quick thinking when I was out hunting with stealth groups.

Overall number one player, I know it's a cliche, but I will have to say Alpha for his dedication, patience and incredible observational skills which let him come out on top in most fights, and also when aiding his fellow realm mates. I will never forget hearing the sound of him starting to play his flute and land that mez that would save my ass after taking a couple of seconds to judge the situation before reacting like all others would have done by charging in head on with dd's ablaze and sword at hand.

Most of my choices are PRE 1.50 when, for me, the game was at its best.
