Who is the best player on Excal?

Ok, lots of people play this game for 23 hours a day and think they are the best leet player of all Excal. Would be nice to see though how much time the "big" players (Alpha, Outlaw, Wuren, Tyka, etc etc) took to farm all those millions of RP's...nice if you have 2 mil RP's but if it took you 50 days played to get them I'd rather have 1 mil in 10 days....

My sorcs pathetic score = 220k in 22 days which makes 10k/day played...(days played as in lvl 0-50 and all other time together)

So who is the big winner of alb, mid and hib when we look at the ARPDPS (Average Realmpoints Per Days Played Score)

ps.my cleric has 260k rps and 80days+ played so 10k/day aint that bad ;)

670 K in 25 days. Roughly 27K/day.

Although a better measure of skill than total RP, there are a lot of factors that influence it without being tied to personal skill;
realm, class, group/solo, guild, fluctuations in class viability, relic-holdings, alliance status, time spent to help others, time spent on gathering equipment, crafting etc etc.

RPs are not a measure of skill.

They are a measure of how long you spend in Emain :)

if your doing it class wize:

Cleric i would say noret weas the best but he's gobe now so Ambulance although allana comes close :)

Wizard i would say wiffle, without a doubt.

Theur, outlaw or stron.

Cabby elfslayer or me ;)

mincer, alpha or sarsur(the old sars)

i wont do inf/ or scouts because i haent realy grouped with them.

pally: farek, poarlain was a close second

armsman: not too sure, tren mabey, but metalwolf(is he a pally?) is damm good too

sorc: the 1st veeshan, or apathy.

mercenarys, probably Alithiel, but Konah comes close second :p

these are only from my personal experience, although generally those who are the best also have a high no. of RP's

But if you consider both time in Emain and RP's together, it can become a measure of skill... someone who has more RP's for less time in Emain is probably going to be more skillful than someone who spends loads of time in Emain and has very few RP's.

And Tilda.... No comment on Mercenary's? :p

Unfortunately there is no way to meassure active time in Emain, so its all foobar.

Hehe, the overall best players of the classes... hmm :D

certainly not me.. lol .. all the time i find myself trying to mezz the hordes of zergin mid/hibs and when i finally realize its time to cry for help i turn around and once again im the last to run :D

i can only love this game :D

To be honest I don’t think you could say who is the best of the best from RP and days played alone. some times you can log on and get a good group straight away and other times you can struggle to even make it to AMG without getting ganked. Other days you can have a perfect group and get no RP`s at all, because of issues that are out of your control ie : zerg is blocking wall, cant find any enemys(aye it does happen), missing out on finding the kills, LD`s etc etc

If it was down to pure RP`s day played, then do you give it to the solo classes ? or the group class that has no offensive skills, but has a high group desirability factor ie clerics, mincers ?

Also how about zerg factor ? how do you judge someone who has a high RP count but spends all of there time camping walls and following the zerg ?

there is no skill in this game. the best player is just the person that plays the most, with the best rp farming class. a skillful game is (as i've said so many times before) something like CS, UO etc. there isnt a jot of skill to this game. there isnt any aiming, there isnt any strafing (unless your stupid). if an armsman goes head to head with...... a sorc, he's gonna lose every time. simply coz the sorc is a more overpowered class than the arms.

at the end of the day, im the best player. nuff said.

The American chronicals have a list of players rps divided by no. of deaths per week. I think we should have that, interesting measure of skill, or at least cowardise, either way, I win. :)

Ok, I don`t know who plays who in alb/hib, but what I do know is that 2 persons was behind 4 of those chars listed there. I do believe that since that`s the case those 2 should be on the list in at least one class each then. :)
