For anyone to say camlann has never been like this before is tool tbh, i remember back in the day just after SI came out (omg BD's! but tbh best time the server ever had been and ever will be) and me and Maulerz duoed exping everywhere and constantly hiding from Purp players roaming whilst we exped, like in Myrkwood forest on the ole weeping willios some random purps would pass and come kill us, but hey we reled and and exped somewhere else.
Thing is now no one exp's all get PLed or are just playing there 50's so all the players are dumped in the pvp areas, this wasnt much of a prob before as if a FG was roaming in Goth you could go to MM/Pry keep or Bridge/Cots etc etc
Its just now that if a FG roams in goth there is not many other places to go other than the ToA cities which sometimes is just as bad.
But if you cant hack with being killed all the time as you guys say "unfairly" or "dishonurably" (sp?) the go play on some carebear server and tell them how bad camalnn is rather that whine on here.
and i havent read every post in this thred but has Xenx said wtf his char name is yet?

He appears to be saying that you cant insult a RR10+ person when the discussion is about the history of camlann, RR10 either equals a long time player or a RP bug abuser...Skold is not an rp abuser from what i can tell so its kinda obvious what Confused was saying.

Camlann has always been _add_ and zerg zerg. I never ever seen someone I dont know personally avoid adding on a fight (fg or solo).
New people are never welcome to the server (expect to get chained whereever you exp, and no chance of getting artis since high rr properly toa:d groups camp there)
And if you comment about it on this forum expect all the "respected high rr camlann people , who never played on a real server" to start flaming you.
99% of the population dont care about fair fights or anything. If they die they try to make a bigger group (eventually a fg) and if you make a fg yourself and kill them they will just log for a few hours until you give up. Then 2 hours later when you wanna solo the same people are back there, you kill them and they make bigger group(again).
Oh and PS: if you haven't played on camlann since release you cant have an opinion about the server.

well goth was a total no go area for about 6 hours yesterday, i was on mid afternoon and Domi were chaining everyone.. logged back on early evening and it was the same.. didnt manage to get many rp's yesterday

Ye its more welcoming to get ganked by RR11 set groups when being RR2 on a RvR cluster, and not to mention how much more fair fight it is. Get of the high horses, there are a-holes on all kind of servers.
On Cam the lamers camp the portal places (bind during timer, release, run away real hard solution) on RvR they camp the bridges instead.
People coming to play Cam dont adjust to the ruleset but try to play it as it was RvR server. Same as our mages play like it was back on Cam when we played RvR a bit (right luwi? )

Even if you do disagree with someones point, at least try to muster the most miniscule bit of intelligence and post a constructive reply, instead of the mindless arse-biscuits you all seem to love so much.
Camlaan was once a great idea, sadly it was the people it was created for that destroyed it - I lasted best part of a year on there, from launch, as a nice change from the grind on my main on Prydwen. Within that year i only managed to get ONE toon past 30, and that was on the fourth try after deleting and rerolling due to zero cash and zero con.
I left cos of all you childish minge-clogs who enjoy the grey ganking - and DON'T BOTHER saying it doesn't happen that much and theres only one or two people who do it - that's just bullshit and you know it is.
I gave it another two tries out in the time it's been up and running and both times - guess what?? I get insta-ganked over and over until im skint. Not always by the same person, but it happened in less than three days for the last try and that was only in December.
For all of you slating crap out of XenX - i don't know him from adam, he might be a genuine a-grade pr!ck in RL - but at least he's TRYING to think of ways to get Camlaans pop up before it's shut down, while the rest of you are just wandering around moaning that theres too much whining and acting like a bunch of l33tist f*ckwhits...
Well, heres a suggestion, if you really do want to keep your server alive, stop being so f*cking negative and childish if i was you and start thinking about how you few are monopolising a system in a way that leaves new players with no option than to join a massive guild, or be insta-gibbed off of the server in days.
I might even go on again later and see how long i can run around after hitting 10th WITHOUT being done over.
To be honest, i give this server a year more, maximum, then it'll become a co-op or Roleplay server. Maybe you lot should save your whines till then, eh? :|
