What weapon for a kobi warrior

lvl 40 kobi warrior looking for advice on weapon spec. spec'd axe atm and wondering if thats the best

Sword:

got a great anytime style, great parry style and godly rear style, and sword looks cool, what more ya want?

Backstyle with chain style
Use after block style with chain style
good taunt

I think I'm going hammer on mine, cos ive never specced hammer b4, im axe atm and dont like it.. mainly just bored of the animation.. sword looks cool... i duno

hammer is ok, have the best reactive styles and decent positional styles

Hammer would be nice as you dont need PF as back pos snares.

So basicly I need 4x spec points.... Was thinking sword..but hate that the taunt is utter crap.. Think I'll stay axe for now..maybe we will get a respec when/if they give the styles an over-haul

for pve : axe best, sword decent, hammer good
for rvr: axe decent, sword good, hammer good
imo

atm hammer isnt worth speccing to 50, not a good 50 style, axe has best normal combo, sword has ragnarok/polar but gimp speed with 1h 16.5dps(3.0) , only good speed ull get on 16.5dps version will be TG, axe (4.0) +75quik is better than sword +0quik, but if you go sword, never put +quik on SC, otherwise dmg will be gimped, too fast is never good

dwarven short sword is 1h, dwarven great sword 2h, 2h is alright, short is gimped speed

Hammer is the best imo, it gives u bleed styles, stunn styles, hinder styles and good posistion's + no high end use. but as Kobi Hammer is nono

IMHO yes...will prob stay axe then , as he will be mostly used for PvE

No bonus to hit on the first style in block chain is gonna hurt you in pve with axe.

I cant speak for "real" RvR but in BG it was a resounding yes.

My kobbie shield warrior was the most fun ive had in BG1 apart from with my hunter....

im not great with game mechanics, but in true RvR would a Troll not block as much as a kobold due to his higher weapon skill -v- lower dex

And then he has the bonus of hitting harde

....?

Could some one point me to some info where it says more weapon skill = more blocking... I cant see what it got to do with each other , hitting with a shield style, yes..blocking ..no Opponents weapon skill would effect my chance to block him , but why my weapon skill should have an effect I fail to see the logic in. If I have 50 shield and 1 point in axe , should I not be able to block as much as if I had 50 points in axe ??? Its kinda like saying that your envenom will suffer if your LA is to low imho.
PLZ give correct info...

Because damage is based on str i think, one of the weaker stats of kobbi
