I too speak from mere BG experience...

Peapod was never beaten 1 v 1. (and sometimes 2 or 3 v 1) in the battlegrounds.

Kobold Sword/shield warriors definately work!

I have a lvl29 hammer/shield warrior but i view sword as a good choice for 50 as that is what im changing to at 40.

But i dont think there is that much of a big difference involved in the weapons....its more up to personal preference

its like this
the higher your weaponskill vs your enemy, the lower chance you get for your enemy blocking/evading/parrying your attack

thus:

if your weaponskill is higher then his, his weaponskill is lower then yours, making his attacks easier to be blocked/avaded/parried

conclusion : you hit harder, and not much defense loss as a troll,
but norse4tehwin imo !

I play an ickle bit still. Mainly with Wijijijij as Sharma said but I did drag Wijj out on Sunday for the relic defense. By the time I got there though there was nowt left to do. Then the server crashed and I decided to open a bottle of wine. And some lagers

Our lass hates me playing games nowadays
