Fixed a bug on a voice interconnect that the entire 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support team and even the guy who designed their voice switch for a particular carrier (*cough* BT *cough*) hasn't been able to solve in 4 weeks of work. It's amazing what you can do while reading FH and drinking a good cup of tea.

I've just spent a few good hours clearing out the computer room aka "The Office". 4 bin liners and still a bit to go. Have about 15 harddrives to destroy, will take the club hammer to them on Saturday, but wow, found so much stuff I could Ebay. Cisco 837, 877 (2 of each), a Juniper switch, a Cisco 7201, a Cisco 3750, 2 BarrysWorld game servers (not sure I can get rid of these), a Pentium processor, a chilld, fans, heatsinks and loads of cables. I've collected so much shit over the last 9 years. Tonight I have been ruthless. Also found 5 phones complete with manuals and boxes. Sigh.

I was referring to the time you take to fix things! ;)

No rush on the other thing btw we only sent those out the other day. Dave & Chet will be there I'm sure!

I know why Deebs is rummaging through his hoard of old shit. Girl from work did that the other day, found a random coin that had sat in a draw the past year after she had dug it up in her garden. She brought it into the office today, laughingly she joked "it looks like something from an old xmas cracker but I bet it's worth a fortune". We laughed too, it looked like a tin-foil covered 5p chocolate.

I did a bit of google-fu and it turned out to be ...

A 500 year old gold coin from the Henry VII or VIII era worth about £1500-£2000.

If the 'h' initial had been an 'r' for Richard III it would have been worth £10-12k !!

You haul me up over a typo? Fucking hell.

Lol - not really - to my parents eyes I can only read that as child - I wondered if you had put it in to see if anyone was actually reading through the long list :)

As for old shit, this is your fucking fault. I have to make room for my new monitor. That has a knock on effect and means I have to tidy up shit. 5 black bags so far.

I'll remind you that you laughed at how particular I was about my choice of monitors ... and the price. Now you've bought the same model you only have yourself to blame :p

I don't watch tv any more. Also, my floor is heated. Contraryb to the UK us filthy socialist euros actually have decent affordable houses with nice features like heated floors and such :)
