No you weren’t you tried to make yourself look good by repeating what I said - but whatever makes you feel special oONo, I couldn't care less about the EU, I was simply correcting you.
No one is disputing this Tony - I am however more than irritated by the relentless and tiresome anti EU sentiment …..
Shouldn't we be working together to find a solution rather than pointing fingers?
I feel like the im alright jack approach is exactly what Putin was banking on.
Less than 5% is not a reliance. Less so going into spring.
Yes we should beShouldn't we be working together to find a solution rather than pointing fingers?

I read it and I felt it was a bit off and currently I do not trust a lot of the information coming out..
What was off about it? The "pulling out all the men to fight" thing is definitely real; my missus has that straight from the horse's mouth only this morning from one of her colleagues who's just spent 20 hours getting to her parents' house near the Slovak border.
It's money, a lot of money, going to Russia, that we're not stopping. That was the point under discussion at the start of this. - the morality of us giving money to Russia.
You pointed at the EU and went "what about them". We wouldn't be talking if you'd just gone: "yeah, it's only 5% but it's still a bit shit isn't it" - but you can't bring yourself to do that.
All you want to do is rage at the EU.
I've not mentioned the EU once but I don't think it is anti EU, more so about the reliance the EU has on Russian energy sources. No one is disputing this Tony - I am however more than irritated by the relentless and tiresome anti EU sentiment …..
I don't disagree with this apart from "Boris is going after the right things" - he's giving that impression, but I don't think he's really going after anything substantive at all.The UK's exposure to Russia isn't gas; its money and flows through the banking system, which dwarf anything to do with gas supplies, and, to be fair to Boris (I guess a stopped clock...etc.) he's going after the right stuff. I still want to see Oligarchs' physical assets seized; actual "police do not cross" tape on the front doors of all those houses they leave empty all over London.
To be fair I think it's more down to Germany and Italy themselves rather than the EU in this case.I've not mentioned the EU once but I don't think it is anti EU, more so about the reliance the EU has on Russian energy sources.
Who will both hamstring the EU's response. Putin knows what he is doing. To be fair I think it's more down to Germany and Italy themselves rather than the EU in this case.
Austria also has a huge revolving door of politicians moving to roles in Russian energy.
Who will both hamstring the EU's response. Putin knows what he is doing.
And football.Much like he's hamstrung the UK's response, because he knows we won't fully root out Russian money, in business and in politics.
And all property.And football.
