Just can't bring myself to PvE from scratch once again in this game; only interested in RvR'ing and looks like I need about 10p to get started properly

The solo aspect of Uthgard seems quite hardcore. Buff pots, solo spec and solo RAs are mandatory if you want to seriously compete. On top of that you can get some edge with particular items that have nice uses or procs. The encouraging part is that FGs will leave you alone almost always, but dueling reavers and melee rangers too often can be frustrating.

there is no class that needs items that cost more then 400g per piece. and often u can get them very easy yourself.
then just craft some armors etc, there are more Legendary crafters then lvl 50's and loads of em do it for cost price.

The items I need are indeed about 250-400g per piece. Crafted armour piece seems to be about 750g for 99%, and I need an MP piece which seems to be around 2p. Then there's the SC'ing which I'm guessing is at minimum 500g per piece and then I need a crafted mainhand axe too and (though less necessary) procs crafted/imbued. I'm certainly a way off yet ;p

u could check for 99qua armor first, since you can cap everything with 99qua

Not really, no.. I suppose you could farm like DF and stuff, but most stuff requires a 5man+

I'm gonna talk from a midgard PoV since that's where I play

Basically, if I was you, unless you're planning on doing a -shit- load of PvE, I'd start out by picking a class that's relatively easy to template, IE not a Thane or a Warrior.

You can cheaply template a Zerker or Healer for 10plat (If you get SCing done by me, anyway)

As for farming as I say before, a lot of it takes a 5 man group, WoWs and DF Legion raids etc..

Medina drops some of the cheaper gear who is soloable by a kiting dotting sham (500g worth gear etc)

As for other things, such as the RvR mobs, GK, GG, and Evern, they usually take a good set up group (Evern is usually done by a RvR group who is bored)

The best way for you to make money really is by doing DF or in the longer run, make a SCer, but will cost an awful lot to setup.

As I say though, this is from Midgard, and I'm not entirely sure about Hib, but I'm pretty sure it'll be similar to this.

I started on mid and my god its tough starting from scratch... im lvl 8 zerker with green con armour and weapons and cash is pretty much hard to get hold off in fact I have 30 silver /flex

Obviously, you can make more diverse templates, but it depends how quickly you wanna get out there and crush some skulls ;P

Ahh yes of course. I forgot that you don't need power pool, duration and all that shit on a healer. Funny how the game has changed over the years

Will be back home monday and will probably start on Uthgard then. Dunno what class tho. Was thinking of warrior, but seeing as that is the most expensive class to get sorted I don't think that I cba with it. Might do a shaman. Always fancied the class but never really got around playing one. How much are they needed for rvr?
