<coughs towards RL picture thread> I know for a fact you blow bubbles frequently ^^

(not to be confused with any particular act on a forum member called bubble I might add) :D

Remember farts also include when your asleep ;)

Come on we all remember nights when our woman (or man) lets one go and we'd try desparately to trap it under the covers :p

Oh you can be so pedantic sometimes k9 ;) Is that an Excal initiation requirement?

(sarcasm on) Blowing bubbles = slang for farting, loosely derived from farting in the bath (sarcasm off)

Ok before this turns into one of 'those' threads, back to the topic in question...Anyone have any Useless facts about the New Year?...post below :)

Here's one to get started: The celebration of the new year is the oldest of all holidays. It was first observed in ancient Babylon about 4000 years ago. In the years around 2000 BC, the Babylonian New Year began with the first New Moon (actually the first visible cresent) after the Vernal Equinox (first day of spring).

You gain an average of 2 pounds after eating a whole Xmas dinner in England.
if you ate 200 cals less every day you would lose the gained weight in a month.

GOLF is short for Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden

Is that actually true, or a witty reflective thought someone had after the event????

I'm fascinated if it's true....

POSH - derives from the high-class liners that used to sail from England to India at the height of the British Empire. It refered to the loading system of these luxury liners. Port Out, Starboard Home.
