He is also shaking supporters down for more donations. The man has no dignity.

He will fight it, using money from dopes like you.

Oh it gets better; the small print of the "Official Election Defense Fund" let's the Trump campaign use the donations to defray the cost of the election campaign! So he's even getting the rubes to pay him for losing!

A fool and his money are soon parted so the saying goes. Trump is rinsing them with barely any effort.

Clearly the actions of a man who feels like he has a strong case. He could go through the legal system with all the evidence he has but no, he wants to romp across America stirring up all his supporters to create even more division.

Sorry - the "left" - by that I mean the Democrats and Labour - have done NOTHING in the past twenty years to stave off this "misery of people". It won't be the fault of the post-covid economy - but very the pre-covid economy and, on a larger scale - the economy full stop.

The economy hasn't worked for the poor for decades. Arguably it never has, but it's just been compounding, like a compound interest of shitness, over time.

And when "the left" has been in power they've failed to do anything about it. Not the Conservatives or the Republicans - the Democrats and Labour.

So demagogues like Trump are more and more likely. Because when they do get power the left doesn't do anything meaningful to make things better anyway.

The victims of Trump are no different than the victims of the Dems - people who support the democrats have in this (and previous) election defined themselves by who they're against (Trump) not what they're for.

The Dems and Labour don't know what they're for. They've got no answers. So they're lauding this (very) narrow narrow victory and, as Biden pointed out in his speech, they're going to spend their entire time rolling back a few things that Trump did - exiting Paris, a bit more affordable healthcare, talking "nice" again and being very disapproving of people who don't want to talk that way.

This talk of "lists" is extraordinarily dangerous and should be a red rag to everyone - not just Trump supporters. It's the left showing their teeth - underneath the veneer there's not much between them and the republicans.

Not in how much they care for people. Not in policy.

Meet the new boss, just the same as the old boss - and just as dangerous, in their own ways.

Yep, not sure where this "massive change" is going to come from now Biden has won Season 1 of the election - he's been in Government for 47 (iirc) years so I'm intrigued how that's not going to end up in more of the same.

And as for that talk of "lists" - Jesus Christ people, you live in the USA, not East Germany. As it is, if they successfully wipe Trump and his cronies from the record, that's 70 million voters they are going to disenfranchise and ignore becuase they were racist or something - that's only going to result in Trump 2.0 in 2024.

Also interesting to see the countries that haven't congratulated Biden yet. Russia (well duh), Mexico (um wot?) and..... China.

Chinese government sidesteps US election question

Um, uh oh?

So is this just AOC looking for publicity or was she sidelined in the campaign to keep voters minds off her extreme views.

I mean, she is right. Her and "The Squad" as they call themselves have been getting a pretty hostile reaction from older democratic party members. There's nothing extreme about her views; she has been poor living while in a big expensive city, and she wants to improve her constituents lot for the better. That said, most of the democratic voters are afraid of Bernie style socialism and she represents that kind of thinking, so the the party were probably right in keeping her out of the election. NY is mostly democratic leaning anyway, so not much to be gained, but a lot to be lost.

My old neighbors met her once, she was in an outdoor bar area last summer, they said she was very nice, polite, didn't take anyone's vote for granted. They both voted for her, despite being fairly well off compared to most people in NYC.

Probably more to do with the fact that Trump was the king at dangerous rhetoric.

You're the one who praised him for not mincing his words, but now you're upset when it's used against you?

lol.

That video is from August last year. Whichever right-wing source somebody who I literally just said I'm not responding to directly found it on is using it to stir up division (as the only actual news source I found it on is right-of-centre).

So lets get this clear..
You are excusing it because you say only right wing sites have posted it.

The logic is strange but consistent

I think their best bet is to just play along and let Trump trip himself up again.

Only you could turn "Mitch McConnell is an obstructive cunt who cares nothing for getting the job of governing done", which he is, and demonstrably so, to "the Post thinks the Democrats should be given absolute power". Did you even read the article?

Of course the last line is probably true, McConnell will probably have more time for Biden because he's a less dusky shade than the previous Democrat President.

And they go way back, same with Biden and Lindsey Graham (who once described him as
"as good a man as God ever created"). Obama apparently used to send Biden to talk to them all when there was a stalemate in the Senate. I'm sure McConnell will still be an obstructive prick* but I have hopes that, even if the Democrats don't get those 2 seats in Georgia it'll be more constructive than it was under Obama.
