It wasn't that bad.
If you look at it overall maybe, but in solid red or blue states turnout was low - because there is a lot less point bothering to vote if you know the state is locked in ( california/texas ), in contested battleground states turnout was hitting 65% which is decent.

I think the FBI Emails were definitely a factor, not the only one however from people I was speaking to. Obamacare premiums going up by 30-40% next year, and the fact her "pitch" appeared to be "Vote for me - I'm not Trump and I have a vagina".

Basically, people just didn't trust her in the slightest. It wasn't a rejection of a female president - it was a rejection of Hillary, her close ties to Wall Street and other dubious organisations and all the other parts of the shady world of politics Hillary inhabited.

First time I went to the US was in 1989 and I crossed the border from San Diego to Tijuana one day. There were two giant fences and a fucking great ditch, and as I crossed the border (it was late afternoon) there were hundreds of people lined up on the Mexican side getting ready to climb, crawl, cut, fucking pole-vault across that fence. And that was at a massively busy border crossing. And if they didn't get across, they'd just go back and try again.

Building a fence out in the middle of the desert will make fuck all difference to illegal migration. Fuck. All.
