It beggars belief doesn't it. If this was some political drama TV show people would have been complaining that the script wasn't believable ages ago.....
That'll have our resident xenophobe foaming at the mouth...London Mayor Sadiq Khan gave permission for the balloon to fly.
Its hardly cutting humour..but he wont see it anyway..Londons off the list
U.S. Opposition to Breast-Feeding Resolution Stuns World Health Officials
Usa is so broken and corrupt. A slave to the corporations. This is quite revealing.
Saw the the other day. Very good.
Where a six-figure salary is 'low income'
Just how inequality breaks the usa. 117k income considered low in san fran.
Yup. My company hq is in redwood shores. So i been there a few times and seen it myself.Since I'm working in the Bay area right now I can 100% believe that. It's probably the only place in the world I've been to that's more expensive than London, especially the price of rent.
I was taken to a restaurant the other night where I had a $250 steak, and that was a cheap choice, while a bunch of homeless were camped out on the opposite side of the street and no one even commented on it. Only in America.
Nice trolling attempt.Hmm - Bristol, Frankfurt, San Fran, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles.
Seems an awful lot of left wing areas with large homeless problems.

OK. Most of what he says is wrong here. WAAAAY wrong. NATO countries don't 'owe' anyone anything and they started to up their spending in response to Russian moves on Ukraine rather than in response to Trump's bluster. BUUUUT:

There is some truth in here. Germany is to some extent compromised by Russian gas pipelines and some of its politicians and ex-politicians (e.g. Gerhard Schroeder) are up to their neck in the corruption. Nordstream 2 is a fucking terrible idea.
Even a stopped clock and all that I guess...
A lot through Ukraine which means Ukraine gets fees. Nordstream 2 cuts that out as well as upping the dependency which Russia does use for leverage. Plus all money in Russian companies comes with strings. They’d have been a lot better investing in gas from elsewhere.A lot of europe gets its gas indirectly from Russia doesnt it?
But where from is the question. I know we bring some in by ship. But its not really a mass transporting solution.A lot through Ukraine which means Ukraine gets fees.
