Ukraine was a false construct that wasn't based on any type of identity in the slightest, it's not like 'Germany' or 'France' where they have clear cut identities as being French or German, they were held together with their identity of being pro-Russian, but people were like 'hang on, we've got a better deal here' so they decided to side with Europe, so they're split, they have ALWAYS been there.

Using Muslims as an example is terrible, if you want an example, use Scotland, it's like saying they wanna leave the UK, we must send troops in to stop them!

That's why my new PoV of Ukraine is to split the country into two, and let them get on with it.

Not as easy as that though innit.

I know the urge not to be seen to be uncool and face the facts because they might make you look like a Daily Mail reader is a powerful one and like so many things in life the facade must be kept shiny, but Muslims quite simply are the most likely group to quickly (on a historical scale it's happening at FF speed) declare areas of Britain as theirs, this has already happened in an unofficial way in many parts of the UK, the balance is between the embedded culture of the 1st generation immigrants and their more embracing descendants as to which way it will go.

Oh do shut up. The situation is utterly different. Do we have a large neighbour we share a land border with? Do we have a large neighbour prepared to arm and even directly support in an incursion? We do not, and since we're a fucking island, nor are we likely to. Bradford's Pakistanis do not have access to tanks, helicopter gunships and a buttload of AKs.
