GSP is amazing, as much as I like Fedor I have to say GSP is the best pound for pound in my eyes.

Unfortunately he hasn't bothered fighting top level competition for the last few years so nobody knows where he's at against the new breed.

He's a beast but cmon, beating up scrubs nobody wants to see.

Silva is probably the best active fighter.

Traditional JJ is very much a belt factory TMA most places so it's questionable how worthwhile what you've been doing is.

Whilst I like Daley and think hes an exciting fighter who I will be rooting for, I just think its too early to be put in the ring with someone like Koscheck.

Kampmann was meant to fight Swick for a title shot - Swick pulled out and Daley stepped in - and beasted Kampmann. He also annihilated Hazelett who's a submission specialist.

Kos has better wrestling than either of them - but his standup and bjj are not great.

If Kos wins it's going to look a lot like GSP Hardy, if Kos gets stuffed it's going to be all Daley.

Roger Gracie vs Randleman should be awesome ( Roger Gracie is heavyweight BJJ world champ - early in his MMA career though ) vs randleman the one dimensional wrestler ( previously anyway ). Although Randleman is one dimensional he did almost KO Fedor with a head slam )

If arvloski loses he's got to be pretty much finished as well surely?



Shine on the other hand has the debut of Braulio Estima multiple time world BJJ champ, Crazy Horse is fighting again, Ninja is fighting again and we get to see the the Din Thomas ( cut from UFC ) vs Ricardo Mayorga ( boxing champion - mma debut ).

Although don king won an injunction to stop them fighting tonight - they say they are going to ignore it and appeal later.

Really enjoyed the cro cop/barry fight. Maybe if Barry wasn so starstruck, he would have tried to capitalise on the 2 knockdowns and Cro Crops broken face.

Felt sorry for Rory macdonald. Stopping the fight with only 7 seconds left, when he wasnt really in danger sucked a bit, but fair play to the guy after the fight. Thats how you lose with dignity. I have a feeling that someone like Herb Dean, an experienced ref, would be able to consider the time left and the situation and assess it in a split second

thought UFC 115 was one of the most entertaining shows they have had in a LONG time. some truly amazing fights. have to say i totally disagree with you about macdonald though, marc, he's a young kid with a lot of fights ahead of him and he was taking completely undefended shots for 10 seconds or so before the ref stopped it. i think regardless of the time left in a round, the fighter's safety should always be paramount.
