meh, the game is dead. I was using the situation on the forums to engender some friction between me and thad to create some distance and history between us. I obviously did not count on the fact that he has not played lots of these games and did not see it for what it was. Maybe a bit meta-gamish from me, but toht said we could not exchange pm's during the day phase so I had to hope he got it. He obviously did not.

It was a safe play, the first named vote is very unlikely to get lynched, unless there is another power block of voters (like the masons Will had in one of the earlier games). Also with my reasoning for wanting to vote Thad coming across as personal and not directly to do with the game, I doubt more than two others would have voted for him, and it would have broken any link between me and Thad - so if one of us was burned and exposed it would be unlikely the pack would be at risk.

Mate you just do some role play, try and expose flaws and lies in the logic or statements others make, and try to win the game. Your victory conditions are set out in the PM toht sent you telling you your role.

A basic game would be: Villagers - survive by lynching all the wolves and any other evil roles.

Wolves - Equal number of villagers by eating / influencing the voting to remove them each night/ day.

Toht has introduced some "special" rules for this one. But the basic game is to spot people who are not in your group and get the lynched by voting during the "day" phase of the game. The "night" phase is when the thread is closed, and people with "night" actions pm them to toht. the game starts again with the next "day" phase and we find out what actions happened at night.

correction there are x number of wolves, it is entirely up to the game creator, and there could be more than one pack, and a wolf could have more than one allegiance.

I'd modkill both, if it didn't happen so that both are furries and the rest of the game would be really boring

So, i'll have to have a reset, which means a nice "little" job for me.
