Song, Diaby, plus the new guy, and Gallas. Wenger knows what he is doing, Toure was absolute gash last season, I think he probably needs a new challenge.

Wenger isn't silly, I fancy Arsenal to challenge this year with Vela coming into the fold upfront.

Toure handed in a transfer request in January he goes missing for a month to play in a nothing cup and he can not play with what people say is our best Technical Defnder, I would rather see Gallas go but we have Gallas Toure New Guy Dojrou Sederos Silvestre and Alex Song all with CB experience. Its clear the two will never co exist so this might be the best year to cash in on Toure. As for Ade no im not worried he was crap last season and we are having no problems scoring in the pre season games.

I do not want to see Kolo leave but as he asked to go there in January i think this move might be of his making.

Bring on the league! I wanna see some football again!
Can't wait to see Liverpool! (and hopefully a big signing before it starts!)
Can't wait to see Barca and my favorite Zlatan! :)
Can't wait to see how Inter will fare this season! (I personally think they will improve).
Can't wait to see RM flop! (Please god make this happen!)

It's really only Bundesliga from the big leagues I don't care a lot about. Maybe i should cause looking at the table it looks to be by far the most interesting :p

I'd just like a signing or two. Hopefully things will start to move in the next week or so.

If he takes freekicks like he did tonight then he will.

He may even take some penalties when necessary during games. Afteral with Ronaldo gone that spot is open and he has a nice strike of a spot kick most the time.

Im hoping that this goal will bring back his confidence that he had pre leg break. With that he may well get a goal.

Wether he scores or not is another point, but least he off the mark from something other then a penalty shootout

Villa through to the semi's of the Peace Cup. Lost Petrov to a cracked collar bone though, stretching our squad even more. Signings needed Martin...

Elano is apparently on his way to Galatasaray for 8 million. Looks like City are starting offload, Bojinov is also on his way out.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants Patrick Vieira to return to the Gunners - four years after the 33-year-old Inter Milan midfielder left for Juventus. And Wenger is willing to match Tottenham's offer, which is believed to be a one-year deal with big bonuses.

Could the old days return? :)

Would definately add some stability to a team that could potentially have a bit of a wobbler this season.

Question is whether he can get fit enough for the premiership and stay free of injury?

Can? I guess you meant can't :)
No, can't blame him at all. Have gotten married this summer as well and having kids. I don't blame him for wanting back to Spain at all. I however wish he wouldn't mind staying one more season :p

I don't like RM tho :p

There has been lots of talk about some Javi Martinez replacing him. Anyone know who that is? :p

Javi Martinez is typically spanish. By that I mean, he has awesome technique and if it wasnt for the likes of Fabregas, Alonso, Xavi Hernandez and Iniesta, would be a regular for spain. He is only 19/20 and has a great future in the game. Only concern is wether he can stand up to the rough and tumble premier league like Fabregas has.

Didn't Benitez decide he didn't like Alonso at the beginning of last season? And then change his mind?

He wanted to offload him for mega bucks and replace him with Gareth Barry for £10.50 and a pizza menu (slightly soiled). Unfortunately for him the Villa wouldn't cave in to him or the pressure exerted by the media ... and now Barry has gone elsewhere for mega bucks.

You can't blame Alonso considering his treatment by Benitez last summer. Think Arse have missed a trick by not trying for him as well though.

Arsenal had agreed personal terms on a deal last year seemingly but then Benitez tried to up the price at the last minute and Wenger told him where to go.
