Holy shit, there's going to be soo much footage of that shooting about.

This is gonna cause an earthquake, numbers don't matter, but when the reality of what happens is shown.

OR FOX NEWS WILL DIVERT

Doesn't matter, I'm sure the NRA will 'Donate' a huge sum of money to sway decisions like they normally do. We can't say Bribe, technically it's not a Bribe if it's a Donation *cough*

Some where saying the nra were claiming that just to get subscriptions up
The NRA doesn't really get its money that way. It's more of a lobby group for manufacturers than users. It pretends otherwise.

Just entered something in my diary for this Friday. But it wasn't showing up. Tried everything. Clearing caches, sync, checked all my account settings, rebooted the phone. Nothing.

I had put the thing in for last Friday !

My calendar is set not to show previous events.

What a cock! Always the simplest of things...

What a fucking disgrace. Why hasn't more been done about it?
Travelled with a girl in Vietnam for a week over xmas. She's a yank who's living in Myanmarr teaching rich people's kids.

Like most things - the news services in the country paint a very different picture - but everyone, deep down, knows what's going on. But that news service allows them to deny it to themselves. So there was popular support for those atrocities.

Just like there was popular support for the germans burning the jews, and other genocides around the planet.

Holy fuck..this new version bank app runs in the background what the living fuck.
You switch to another app and it sits there connected to your account...I shit myself the first time I clicked the link expecting it to ask for a password...nope still open on my account.
This has to be the most unfuckingbelivable security risk on a mobile device.

You mean that you tab to something else, leaving it open on your phone, tab back and it hasn't auto-closed immediately?

Sounds normal? Most banking interfaces will have a timeout. If you're looking at your phone app, and you want to look at something else, it'd be fucking annoying if you had to re-authenticate. It's not as if whilst it's in your hand someone else is going to transfer money out. When you lock your phone the app will time out.

Don't see the issue.

The Barclays mobile App closes immediately if you attempt to tab out of it. I'm quite happy it does that as a security feature.

The original app...which was far better to use...dropped out straight away, thats how I would want it.
If someone grabs your phone and then finds it running, they can cause havoc with your accounts, sending money to contacts or companies/people you have set up, deleting payments, cancelling cards...withdrawing 250 cash.
It just seems like an extra risk for shit to go wrong.
If Im on the app I carefully pick where I am and check whos around..if its gone into the background and can survive the phone sleeping etc..thats a serious concern.

It won't. It'll time out. Why not test it whilst you're sat there?

I'd never bank on my phone anyway. All on my never-hit by a virus, never hacked, secured by microsoft windows 10 PC.

Trust ios or android??! Never...

Dug into the settings and found auto log out..it was set to shortly after.
Wtf is that it logs out 'shortly' after I log out.??
In there is third party permission..companies I have given permission to see my account details..and fucking marketing permissions..it begins.

You are such a fucking luddite. The tide of history is definitely against you; desktop banking is for the old folks (literally). And frankly iOS has a way better security record than any PC ever built, and you've got much better authentication and anti-fraud options on a mobile device than on any desktop.

NB. Bank apps should log off if you tab out; ours does. However, the alternate is if you're using strong customer authentication the app can stay logged in for a little while if you tab away, but when you come back and try to do anything it will request a second factor (e.g. a thumbprint)

The third party permissions is Open Banking/PSD2. The idea is that by the end of next year you can give permission to access your account to payment providers (so you don't need a debit card), fintechs (offering money management solutions) and also if you have two or three bank accounts with different banks you can pick your main account (or your favourite User Experience) and access your other accounts from the same app. UK Open Banking is slightly ahead of the game compared to a lot of the other EU countries, which is why you're seeing that kind of thing in your permissions, but as far as I know I don't think anyone's offering any public TPP (Third Party Provider) services yet, but I might be wrong about that; they are in Scandinavia.

There are also third party permissions in there for stuff like Visa so if you lose your card you tell the app to tell Visa to pause or stop the card via an API.

Meh. I never need to do banking on the fly @DaGaffer. I do my company accounts on the PC and do whatever banking is needed then. I can't imagine why I'd want to do it sat in the pub.

Dunno what a phone gives you over, say, a surface. Apart from fingerprint stuff. 2FA and all the rest of that gubbins works too.
