The severed head of a deer was left on a self-service supermarket checkout, prompting a police investigation.
The innards of the animal were found in one of the aisles of the Tesco shop in Saffron Walden, Essex, police said.
I just read the most horrifying thing
Rocket (Guy behind DayZ) climbed Mount Everest and he basically said people were climbing around a guy who was dead/dying. You forget don't you, your body wouldn't go anywhere out there, jesus.
WTF No6?
unexpected item in bagging area
I quite like the way it works. If you're an unprepared retard: you die. End of fucking story.
Is it just me or does the new Mac Pro look like a dustbin? http://www.apple.com/mac-pro/

tl;dw - The mother and father are separated, the boy lives with his mum but was out with his dad by arrangement. The boy doesn't want to get out of the car when his dad brings him back to the mother's house. Police are called (by the mum I think). The boy says he is scared and she has hit him before and put her hands round his neck.
more concise tl;dw - boy doesn't want to go back to his mum's house (where he lives), stands up for himself.
It's interesting (and sad) stuff. I thought the police did well tbh, it's gotta be a bit of a headfuck for them to try to deal with.

There needs to be a limit
Why?
Climbing Snowdon? No sir, there've been 250,000 people up this mountain this year, so no more. Why different for Everest?
It's just a fucking big rock that people like to visit. They know they might die, but wtf eh? Let 'em - if it's what they want to do.
Its fairly common to limit access for this kind of thing; the Inca Trail has a fixed number of hikers per year to minimise ecological damage; in fact I think they've closed the original trail down entirely now and gone with a new route. Everest is subject to the same issues and there's loads of junk (including dead people) all over the mountain.
Inca trail has a massive and complex ecology to damage though. Everest is just a snowy rock.
Yes but eventually even mountains above the treeline get wear and tear; paths are eroded, the available areas for pitons get degraded, etc, etc.
