But then with the size of my rhubarb plants that's probably just one leaf.

Because it contains so little fat if you only ate rabbit meat you would die from protein poisoning.

Nah. It's the lack of vitamins. Scurvy is what we get.

If you eat too much protein your body converts it to carbohydrates and you burn it up (or lay it down as fat if you don't).

Rabbit starvation is documented however it looks a bit hysterical - rapid death? You can survive for ages on no food at all, so the addition of rabbit is surely a net positive?

Not if you are a dwarf like @Jupitus, reckon he could last about 2 days without food then 1 meal later his body has eaten itself as it is smaller than a kid's meal.
