More hassle than it's worth and no guarantee you would be able to sell the parts (for a profit or at all).

Method:
1. Chop the onion, carrots, and celery into tiny cubes
2. Drain and rinse the beans
3. Heat a tiny drizzle of oil in a pan
4. Fry the mince until brown
5. Season meat with salt & pepper
6. Add the veg & beans and cook for about 8 minutes
7. Add tin of tomatos, a big gloop of puree and the stock cube. Stir
8. Add the spices:

lean beef steak mince
Stewing steak. Fatty.

All in a big heavy metal lidded pan, bring to a rolling boil (stirring) for about 20 mins and then stick in the oven for about 8 hours at just under 100 degrees C. The fat and sinew will render down off the meat, leaving chunks of very tender beef.

Then take out and cool totally. V.Important. The next day stir it and reheat it slowly on the hob.

I always do it in massive bulk and blow your face off hot too :)

Carrots and celery? In a chili? Heathen.

Caramelised onion is lovely in a chili.

I put a little bit of brown sugar in mine and stick it all in the slow cooker in the morning ready for dinner.

"If you know beans about chili, it's that there's no beans in chili."

and no onions! :)

Naaaah every chili is nice tbh. One of my favorite dishes all categories!

When I make it I have just meat, beer, spices (and garlic) and a few different chilis.

We have any excel gurus in here? Having an issue with a data set and need to find the max number in a range but based on a function for another range. One range is time duration based, the working Count and Average functions look like this:

count of devices in I2 to I1132 if duration (col I) > 6 hours and < 9 hours
=COUNTIFS($I$2:$I$1132, ">6:00:00", $I$2:$I1132,"<=9:00:00")

Average # devices with same rules
=AVERAGEIFS($O$2:$O$1132, $I$2:$I$1132, ">6:00:00",$I$2:$I$1132, "<=9:00:00")

The two above work fine. But I'm trying to get the max number within the same range (o col)

example with <= 3 hr duration:
=MAX(IF($I$2:$I$1132,"<= 3:00:00",$O$2:$O$1132))

Cant figure out what is wrong with it and its been driving me nuts for last 2 hours. Bloody MS need to put a MAXIF, MAXIFS and MIN... into Excel.

I'm an mi analyst. And work with excel for a living.

Struggling to understand what you need based on your explanation. Can you put it a different way? Or create a google doc?

OK

The problem is that the "If" statement doesnt create an array of variable for the "max" function to work with, its a boolean.

You will struggle to do it in one formula... i am assuming you can add another column in next to your data set (doesnt need to be visible)

Using the below formula in the new column referencing your origional dataset...

=IF(AND(F15>=6,F15<=9),F15,0)

You create a second data set that shows "0" for any value that does not match your critera, and its own value for whan it does.
(in my example... column f contains the origional data set, and 6 and 9 are my upper and lower limits.. the highlighted values will be different based on your sheet and criteria)

You then just "max" on your new column of data

So i've deactivated my Facebook account.

Enough being blasted with irrelevant likes and comments of friends, which I had opted not to see long time ago. My feed was a constant junk fest, browsing it was such a hassle. No more.

cheers @Urgat was trying to figure it without doing other columns. As sated they need to create a MAXIF and MAXIFS functions ect. then it would be a piece of cake :)

E:\ is not accessible
The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error

How do I recover my data?

You don't. Unfortunately 99 times out of 100 that error means it's fucked.
