Rule 1 NEVER update your phone if it's working OK, every update I have ever done has fucked up something.
From bricking the wifi module to loosing bluetooth, having battery life halved and generally fucking up the UI and adding a shed load of shit I don't want.

its a nice tactic to slow down older phones forcing upgrades :)

Saw that vid, but surely this has been a thing for years with those head mounted spinning poles.

Personally I was born in the year of the dragon. It makes me fierce. Like Beyoncé or Lady Gaga

I think there should be a question mark after the last bit of that sentence

So tomorrow, I'm delivering a lesson to a group of year 7 and 8s (That's 11-12 year olds for you old money folk.)

I'm doing an 'introduction to the causes of the First World War.'

Introduction.. Year 7 & 8.

I don't know where to begin really, brief overview of the Triple Entente and the Dual/Triple Alliance and the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, or more detail about arms racing, and the protection of Belgiums sovereignty etc?

If it were Primary, or year 11's, this would be easy.

This seems too much for instance

Does your surname rhyme with bender? If not, you will be fine. They wont listen but at least they wont call you names.

Rhymes with Knackers, but I don't think kids are inventive enough to think of that.

It's a SCITT course too, it's one where you pretty much learn on the job all the time, and therefore very competitive.

I'm not optimistic about my chances, but I'll be chuffed if I got onto it :)

Do 12 years like cutting and sticking?

I'm considering printing off blank european maps and getting them to stick flags down of which country is which, label them, colour them in depending on alliance and stuff.

Or is that too primary school?

Bit primary I think. And I don't think encouraging self-harming will get you many brownie points either. :(

Did anyone read that story of that transgender person who rang the police threatening suicide, so the police rocked up and shot them dead.

Makes sense to me, they were threatening the life of a human being. Can't be too careful.

Well if they were weilding aa gun and pointing it officers then they might not have had much choice specially if it was fired towards them. Suicide by cop isnt uncommon from what i hear.

Kind of easy in the US no? I mean you basically have to disregard them and that earns you anything between 4 and 60odd bullets.
