Woot three huge environmental black holes. Cant imagine anything worse than being stuck on a ship for weeks no matter how big it is. Hehe

I have to kind of agree with you.

Although they are truly majestic ships, we don't get the train to the seaside anymore...

Not my cuppa tea either, but I suppose if you're the kind of person who likes all-inclusive resorts, a cruise isn't much different.

i dont see why they dont build a big land based version. Would be easier to maintain and wouldnt have to drive engines 24/7. Would be the same experience stick it on a few hydraulics to mimic waves and past a sea horizon picture on each window. Bobs your uncle

I did a cruise for my honeymoon and I really enjoyed, waking up somewhere different everyday was pretty cool, without the feeling of traveling around. I often woke up through the night thinking the boat was tipping over! That was the worst thing ever :p

I believe a "hotel" is thing you're thinking of.

The French weren't cowards in WW2, just woefully mislead and badly equiped leading up to the war. Britain would have met the same fate if it was physically attached to Europe. We also "ran away" just as much as they did at the start of the war...all the events leading up to the evacuation of Dunkirk etc.

If it wasn't for some very brave French people then the D-day landings probably wouldn't have happened, or if they did then they wouldn't have been successful.

This. Also, "French cowardice" wasn't even a thing until they wouldn't go along with Dubya's illegal war; the meme when I was growing up was always in reference to Italian cowardice (Italian tanks had seven reverse gears etc.), which was also untrue, but they have the great lifestyle and the weather and effortless style, so fuck 'em.

One minor thing; the French were misled, but they weren't badly equipped; they actually had better gear than the British or the Germans, especially their tanks.

The thing I made for my final project is 340x faster and 83x cheaper than the product that was in use before this.

Don't submit it. Patent and sell it.

Tsk. N00b.

a little voice in my head just said "you could have saved yourself a shitload of work if you'd only have made it twice as fast and half as expensive, Teeds you klutz!"

ah well, I suppose this is the difference between dreaming about owning a nice Porsche and actually owning one (or several (or several dozen (or having a house built especially to house my collection of vintage but pristine Porsche's  ))).
