Just found a wallet stuffed full of notes at the petrol station must have been at least 200. Handed it to the manager but now thinking they will take the cash and bin it.

Was there no ID in there? Also report it to the local police as well so they are aware the garage people have it

2.2 pounds to be exact :)

I tend to feel that any non-metric system users can instantly convert any of their archaic systems in to any other. In my mind they all speak with the voice of Fred Dibnah.

Ooh arr, fair enough son you know 17 and 3/8th short wheel cheeses is about the same as 12 and 9/31st of a h'thumb-inch foot-el of steam pressure. Ah made those kind of rivets when I were 'prenticed to old Mister Mouldbacon, of Mouldbacon and Sons, Cheese-Pressurers. They were cheese-pressurers to 'er Majesty don'chaknow.

Interesting day; Bro bought me a very early bday/xmas gift, full dvd set of harry potters. Excellent gift. Why oh why?

Not seen one(avoided most trailers/spoilers too for many years now) and always said i'd watch em all in one sitting. Now he's forced my hand :p

Probably scheduling it on the hangover day of mayday celebration.

Also shared his steam library so...yeah...that's a lot of lifewasting as his library has another 100+ games i didn't own.

Progress so far (i'll spoiler it so as not to bore people)

Bag 1 contents gave me this which is the SHEILD stand for the mini figures to go on and the stand that holds the finished model.

The other bit is the start of the Helicarrier itself

036.JPG

Bag 2 contents added this. Its starting to take shape and included the main flight deck with all the computer screens

This is just the underside of it so far

Bag 3 contents added all the cogs and gearing for the 4 turbines

That's as far as I've got so far, also when I say 'bag' there are 4-5 bags with each number on....so many bits!!

That is massively awesome! Can't wait for my son to grow a little so I have an excuse for playing around with all my old Lego again

Bag 5 was the 1st turbine, it seems the next 3 bags are the other ones. This is the housing for them

.....and in place, and yes it does spin when I turn the handle at the end

I always wanted to do this things but always wondered what to do after its constructed.

Have this kinda nagging feeling cause of the price. And the time spent and afterwards

Especially when I get the Tie-Fighter next month and put it next to it, haa haa

LEGO Update

So all 4 turbines are in place and they all work, so I must be doing something right

And they have been drip feeding the figures in each set of bags too

Hawkeye, Fury, Captain America and Agent Hill.

That's it though, no Hulk, Thor, Black Widow or Ironman (bit disappointed with that tbh)

Just watched the Roast of Justin Bieber. Laughed a lot. Very funny if you're in to that sort of thing
