Like that motorcyclist who was speeding and then saw a policeman at the side of a road with a speed gun, slammed on his brakes, crashed and killed himself, it's very difficult to have sympathy.

Got a lot of sympathy with that tbh.

Could very well be that it was a good bit of road to go fast on, and the only thing that made it unsafe was the cop with the speed camera...

Shouldn't be breaking the speed limit. Even if it's a good bit of road to go fast on. Obviously not good enough to react safely to unexpected occurrences.

I regularly do 95ish on the Mway or duel carriageway but where you have traffic crossing the road it is just retarded.

Motorways are different tho I don't do over ninety these days on them or dual carriage ways with national speed limits. But single carriage ways where anything could be round the next bend is a different matter.

I can understand the thrill of winding roads on two wheels. Just for me it's not worth the risk. I prefer a roll cage and airbags. To bushes and Tarmac to break any potential accident.

Sorry but I hate that attitude. Speed limits let other people guess timings and gaps. If that guy was doing 60 then the car would go through with no incident. The fact he was doing 40 over the limit closed that gap fucking fast. The speed limit is not just for you it is for everyone else on the road and just because you think you are a driving legend it does not mean you can ignore the rules.

Another example is people doing 100 on the motorway when a lorry pulls out like a cunt doing under 60. The 40mph speed difference means you die, if you were doing 70 chances are you can either avoid the crash or at least stand a chance of surviving it.

Yeah I know, but I am sure the guy in the original video was probably only speeding because he though it was a good bit of road to go fast on. And both of the riders would still be there if they could do the speed limit.

RAGE TEST

DID YOU GET RAGE AT THE WOMAN? YOU FAILED

Damn @Big G its over an hour, can you give us the bullet points?

On the other hand if she is going on about ribs, dodgy apples and talking snakes then yes that will give me rage and i'll probably throw something at the screen

I'm a rubbish and timid driver and don't understand how easy some other people find driving safely yet quickly

Sokay Soze m8. I know you hate the drivings. But I loves them. :)

er actually, quite a lot of driving is looking out for what other people are doing, hacking it along at 100 on a single carriageway restricts that ability. Much like the northern clown @Tom thinks cyclists are perfectly fine to wobble about the place on a bike in a HGVs blind spot.

Driving fast isn't all about you, its what you can expect from the conditions or other vehicles.

The full video of that bikecrash is also on Livelink and there's a good comment there as follows:

to those who blame car driver, lets do some Maths here :

97 MPH = 142 foot per second ( that is 43 Meters for the other 95 % of the planet )

Car began the right turn maneuver roughly 3 seconds before impact, meaning decision was already taken to make the turn, meaning driver took the 4th second to assess clearance of both incoming lane AND desired destination.

so 4 seconds before impact, bike was 569 foot away or 173 meters. We can easily assume that during the 5th sec prior to impact, driver already knew he was about to turn right, so that put the bike 710 foot away (216 Meters).

Now look how the car is visible at 5 sec prior impact, then at 4. Similar from car's perspective, but involving a MUCH smaller vehicle, way longer that wider , AND driver's line of sight being BELOW the height of cam lense, then try to evaluate the speed of it , knowing its not a high way.
conclusion : sorry for the dude, but he was riding for himself with no consideration for the others...

So I just went out to a club, had like 3 cans of beer before going, went to a bar before hand, had two pints of beer, then went to said club.

I then had a double vodka lemonade in the club, walked out, had a cigarette, went to get back in 'Hang on' *looks at my eyes* 'You need to go over there and sober up'

So I asked why I couldn't get in, I was accused of being on something, asked again 10 minutes later, then they changed their story and said I was too drunk.

I literally paid £5 to get in, paid £2.50 to get a drink, and that was all I did.

I hereby enforce the Freddyshouse Act of Boycott to Boycott Mosh Nightclub Leicester.

From this point onward, your ancestors shall not step foot in this establishment for a terrible service.

If said ancestors decide to go to the nightclub, it will be punishable by death.

and if you don't, i'll get you some free M-kat.

1. Students dont go to night clubs on Saturday nights. Full of locals and too expensive.

2. 2.50 for a double voddie is so cheap it must be watered down

3. Quit smoking and you don't have a problem.

4. As if any one frm fh would go to a night club in Leics.

Lol

1. My Brother is going to University on Wednesday, so we thought that we'd go out before he went to University, so there wasn't any Students around since Freshers hasn't even started.

2. So that supports my argument.

3. I've always gone outside with friends for cigarettes, whether I smoked or not, I've done it hundreds of times

4. I wasn't exactly being serious.

Fuck off :)
