You don't have to go to Ikea (Which isn't that cheap for what you get!) to furnish a house on the cheap.

Of course you don't have to but it's a great option to have with (literally) everything under one roof.

Been a while since you were on student funds, huh? The IKEA furniture we have won't last a lifetime, but it will do for now and much of it looks very decent

No I mean you can get far better made/better looking from used furniture shops and the like. The British heart foundation for example.

Most of it is tat to be fair.

I think the problem with most flat pack furniture, Ikea included, is poor assembly. Put together well by someone with a bit of nouse and it can last ages.

?

Ikea is amazing. If you can't assemble their furniture, then you're borderline retarded

Go to any flea market and you'll get better quality stuff, cheaper.

IKEA is only good if you need storage boxes because you can't find those f*ckers anywhere else.

He was traveling at 97mph, and the driver was prosecuted?

Wha... Wh.. what?

Some militant motercyclist was getting shouty about this on facebook, refusing to accept that the bike rider was in any way at fault. The driver was slightly at fault because you really have to be on the ball looking out for both suicidal cyclists and suicidal motorcyclists (and cars too ofc!) but 97mph on a single carriageway in any vehicle is mental, Darwin caught up with him.

So I just looked at some contents insurance for my house, and it said £1000 cover.. - you can only claim up to 40% of that cover though, so basically £1000 cover = £400 cover?

Is it all like that or am I misinterpreting it?

Without seeing the terms I can't tell. Seems wierd to have a grand but only able to claim 400 though.

Unless you're a woman of course...

15 months (out in 7), teacher, 15 year old girl...

It's a school though, a bit different, I'd imagine this guy was like a private tutor or a mosque teacher which isn't exactly official, basically, it's like a normal person fiddling with a kid, rather than a person in a position of care and trust (teacher) fiddling with a kid.

You're only a peadophile if the child is prepubescant..around 11 or so..but puberty is progressivly starting earlier and there has been calls to redifine the law and invent a new offence called hebophile I think which is under 13.
If you have sex with a fourteen year old you will probably get a suspended sentence.

Nope there's a massive double standard between a man doing stuff with a child and a woman doing stuff with a child, in the eyes of the public especially.

I think it's the fact he was ripping down a straight road, he should've been seen, but I think it was the fault of both parties.

Imagine if that was a po-po car.
What a cock of a bike rider...100mph through a junction with a car waiting to turn across your path...firstly you should always slow down at busy junctions and cover your brake when on a bike not barrel through at 100mph expecting everyone to have seen you.
Secondly he could have killed the people in the car at that speed...irresponsible prick who has probably ruined that car drivers life.

Can't disagree with any of that. The car driver is at fault for pulling across but fuck the bike rider. Like that motorcyclist who was speeding and then saw a policeman at the side of a road with a speed gun, slammed on his brakes, crashed and killed himself, it's very difficult to have sympathy.

Acquaintance of mine crashed his bike three days after we met, guess he drove too fast, some bump in the road or a small stone w/e made him sort of loose control and didn't make the bend, crashing and hitting head first into the steel-fence, breaking his neck and dying instantly.

I guess you're inclined to drive fast when on a sports motorbike, just human nature.
