... David the robot, who seems to have aged 20 years since the last movie.

It's almost like Alien Covenant is set well over 10 years after Prometheus and they even say that in the movie ...

Alien Covenant might as well be called "Carry on Alien"

It's so bad I wouldn't be surprised if the (decent copy) I watched turned out to be a hoax.

Would it be too much to ask that they actually make a fucking film that throws Alien3 in the bin and continues after Aliens, because everything since has been utter shite, in fact the Alien Predator films are far better.

What happened to Monday. Pretty good. Impressed hos they got Mickey rourke to look a bit like Glen close.

Watched Hacksaw Ridge. Really good movie. Loved that it was based on a true story. Shows how brain washed the japs were in ww2

Just watched John Wick 2, I'm a bit behind most people since I can't go out but I must say I enjoyed it, John Wick 1 and 2 are great movies.

Saw Baywatch & Assassin's Creed while on a flight recently. They were both pretty shit. I think Baywatch might be good as a background movie while getting hammered. The eye candy is pretty decent.

I think for an action movie to be great it needs to be less dumb. By the end of the John Wick films I'd gotten bored of the munching through the bad guys shit. They do indeed skin many cats in many ways but by the end it grew tedious and repetitive. They needed something more...

Would it have taken more than a weekend for the script writers to develop a scenario that covered why they didnt take obvious measures.

I'm using the music from MCU movies wean my little lad off listening to the teenie pop shit his sister likes. He's been running around the house for days singing Led Zep Immigrant Song, because of the Thor:Ragnarok trailer. I'm so proud.

My cousin is one half of a company composing alot of music for movie trailers:

Superhuman (music) - Wikipedia

He is an amazingly talented lad and they are just working now on doing the full score for a new Netflix series - hopefully it will lead to yet more :)

We need more movies with Liam Neeson and different form of survival settings, before he gets too old.

Can recommend Wind River (2017) with Jeremy Renner and one of the Olsen-sisters. Pretty decent slow-burner, fargo-esque isch.
