Thought Dungeons and Dragons was brilliant, especially after playing so much BG3 lately.

I gave that a try recently as well, and glad I did. I didn't know what to expect after the previous attempt (didn't know that one had sequels until recently... how???) but it was a very enjoyable film. It was nice how they made it clearly in the game world and inspired by the game rules, but it still worked on its own as a film, so someone with no knowledge of the games could still enjoy it.

I might have to give it a second chance.

I very much want to see this. No release date known for NL though -.-

I've got this set:

I think mine is No. 54 or something like that although ironically what is labelled as his final master piece in the set (The Wind Rises) technically no is the his final master piece.

The Creator.

Big props for actually being an original big budget movie. It also looks gorgeous and feels like a realistic looking future, and there are some great set pieces.

Unfortunately the plot doesn't live up to the visuals and the whole AI world-building is kinda bollocks; a real "don't pull on that thread" type of movie.

Is it a bit shit then? Still worth an evening if you've nowt else.

Only asking because I've just finished Only Murders In The Building Season 3 and it was fucking great :)

No, it's not shit; the visuals alone are worth the price of admission. What it actually is, is a film from the director of Rogue One, that's actually quite a bit like...Rogue One, but without a whole load of Star Wars backstory to do the heavy lifting from a plot and world building perspective.

I found Only Murders to be a bit up and down this season, but any show that can squeeze in a Mel Brooks cameo is OK in my book.

Lets hope the Dwayne Johnson remake never sees light of day, the total lunacy of original is what I love the most

It was much like a lot of Steven Seagal's original films, nothing intellectual about them ....just him punching people :)
Yeh I watched the one where he was a chef on the boat with Erika, also watched him on the train.
