Thanks for the prod. Enjoyed that. :)

Proper spoiler:
Last one from him tho. Nice one to go out on - I feel he was perfect as Wolverine but they've horribly wasted him. Or was it the whole ending you didn't like?

Agreed with all including the spoiler.

I wasn't sad to see them both go... I just felt that despite the all the grit they couldn't help but fire a massive cheese load right up it's arse at the end... 'oh so that's what it feels like'... uuurrrgh

That aside it was fucking epic.

Exactly. Couldn't have said it better. This is what I was talking about @Scouse

Just watched The Dressmaker. Not at all what i expected. I haven't laughed so much in a long while especially at the Aussie Rules football game at the beginning. Have never liked Kate Winslet but she can obviously act. Helped by Liam Hemsworth of course.

I'm loving some of the stuff that Netflix are putting up. Sat and watched this tonight, really interesting.

13th (film) - Wikipedia

Looking at how the 13th amendment to the constitution led to the policy of mass incarceration that was introduced under Reagan/Clinton.

Watched 15mins of Logan, bit bleedin dark.
Can't help but think Stewart put a lot of influence into making it more of a vehicle for his raaannggee.

Also watched Hidden figures about the black women who worked for Nasa, just a bit to cliched for me, so many feelgood scenes that were beyond unrealistic, 'Sheldon' plays a very underwhelming part.

I enjoyed Logan, I hated how dickish he appeared to be although one line near the end answers that.

I liked how meaningless some of the deaths were. Xavier's death was mostly a bit of rambling and...gone. The evil doctor, he didn't get the honour of a "boss fight" death, just BLAM - gone. And young Wolverine, he was just blown away too, although the shot of the pistol on the floor spoiled that surprise. A weaker writer might have had Xavier doing something silly, like transferring Logan's consciousness into the younger Logan, but I'm glad that didn't happen.

I really, really liked the scene in the casino, where Xavier had his defensive panic attack. That was superb.

Just got back from watching Logan, thought it was a great finale.

no idea how X-Men film continuity all fits together anymore, so I'm treating this like an alternate universe

The Wolverine films aren't considered canon.
