Sky go error - an error has occurred, the application must terminate - I can't get rid of it. Reinstalled Silverlight , tried installing Mozilla - same problem... anyone else got this or knows how to fix it?? :(

Sky need to sort their shit out. Their incompetence is making it impossible to record.

Abso-fucking-lutely. Brilliant race. Well done Lewis!

I feel like I just watched about 3 races.

Nico taking it all very well I see :)

No one to blame but himself this time. Could do with being a bit more gracious. I have to admit, much as I wanted Hamilton to win, I kind of hoped Vettel was going to make Rosberg look like a mug on that last lap.

They all act like that when it goes wrong, Hamilton included.

Probably true, I'd like to think that at least Hamilton would have sprayed a bit of champagne on the podium, if the situation had been reversed, but who knows.

I think Rosberg would be happy if nobody raced and nobody overtook. He gets outdriven by Hamilton in an identical car and wouldn't be anywhere close in a competing team's car.

Quite possibly the worst TV coverage ever. Director bloke wants sacking.
Nice result though.

George Osbourne has multiple meetings with Rupert Murdoch.
George Osbourne cuts BBC funding.
BBC make cuts that give more reduces their competition to sky.
Sky make more money.

Hmmm wonder why sky media properties were all in the tank for the tories.

Channel 4 appear to be taking it up. I do watch the F1, on Sky, their coverage (with the exception of Croft) is excellent. It is very expensive for the BBC though and it does make you wonder if it's worth the BBC's budget. Anyway, it'll still be free to air on Ch4, so nothing to moan about really.

Croft does get a bit excited sometimes but I find him better than Legard, and Brundle more than makes up for his annoyingness during the commentary.

Sky have Martin's gridwalk, hence they win.

Watched the bbc's coverage once, didn't bother again - pretty much entirely because of Eddie Jordan.

And his shirts....

Not sure how its going to work here; we get Setanta coverage of all the races FTA, but its actually the BBC OB. So if Setanta don't do a deal with C4 that's the end of fully FTA F1 coverage in Ireland (I assume I'll still be able to watch the C4 races unless they region block, which does happen with C4 sometimes).

I can't really justify paying for Sky Sports as I never get enough time to watch it enough (with the kids I just never get a chance to sit down and watch anything at the weekends during the day).

Yep, I have the TV for the GP's assuming I'm not at work. It is the only time when I claim exclusive rights. There also has to be no playing or messing about in the living room for the duration of the race. We have few hard and fast rules in my house, but that is one of them.

In a way I sort of wish I could get away from them though. I often feel cheated of my Sunday afternoon. Every now and again it's a great race, but you have to sit through 6 others which aren't. We have Sky Sports because Clare loves to watch the footie, without that we wouldn't have it and I'd be freed from my GP addiction.

To be honest, I don't see my kids often enough to throw away a quarter of my weekend to watch the GP. I watch if the weather outside is terrible - a 50/50 chance - and even then its background. Its actually the early or late races I tend to get to see in their entirety.

Easier to record it and fast forward it. i think drivers are less keen to talk to Martin nowadays. Prefer DC.

And Jenson and his wife of a year have split up. no surprise there. Why do these millionaires bother to get married?

I agree, but I am also quite sad about it - they both seemed to be a good fit..... :(

Well she was allegedly having an affair with some fashion recruiter so she must not have agreed with you...
